I went ahead and got the 280f's since it was cheaper to buy the 280f's than it was to buy the RP-250s's, the rf-82iis are looking way more bad *** as side surrounds than the Rp-250s's would have imo. Plus now my whole front stage will be matching since I have the 280f's,450c, and dual 115sw's.

I'm currently running RF-82iis for my main L&R channels and was thinking about buying the new rp-280fs to replace those, and using the 82iis as side surrounds instead of getting the rp-250s's since the 280f's are on sale and are currently cheaper than a pair of 250s's. I think it would make more sense to use the 82iis as side surrounds rather than the 250s's, or should I keep the 82iis as my mains and get the 250s's as side surrounds? Im just wanting some other opinions as to what would be better.

Klipsch has the rp-280f's on sale right now for $419

If I was going to do a 2 channel set up I would do the rf -7iis, but that's my personal opinion.

Does klipsch usually run any type of holiday sale other than their 20% off ?

I have rf-82iis for my fronts and a rp-450c for my center and I started with a single r-12sw sub then added another and still felt I needed more bass, so I took the second sub back sold the other one for 250 and bought 2 r-115sw's. For me at least I felt the bass was lacking even with 2 12''s and now that I added the 2 15's I feel the system is more complete. Some might feel 2 15s is over kill but I think they sound perfect with my 7.2 set up.
