  1. Hi @billybob This is what is written on the CWIII sheet by Klipsch, they say: LOW FREQUENCY DRIVER K-33-E 15 ”(38.1cm) Fiber-composite cone woofer (But I believe these are no longer K33E made by Eminence USA, maybe a new supplier?) Cornwall-III-v03.pdf Here is the label of one of mine To get back to the subject > In any case SS Mcintosh is excellent on CWIII, I use it on the woofer, but I also listened to my MC2125 on the whole speaker (K33 + K53Ti + K107Ti) and it was superb with a very fine sound and crystal-clear treble !!! 😎
  2. Hi, I use this beautiful MC2125 on the K33E of my CW III, the sound is fantastic with great bass. But if I were to buy a CW today and have the $: I would definitely go with an IV.
  3. Did you equip yourself with this MM-008? I believe it is good 👍
  4. By the way I forgot to say it: the greatest sang it: Ella Fitzgerald, Dario Moreno, Dean Martin, Gina Lollobridgida, Franck Sinatra, Maurice Chevalier, Luis Mariano ... and many others And here is the original
  5. Bravo @MeloManiac 👍 Confirmation, by searching on the internet, the first version of the first disc of AKSAK Maboul / Marc HOLANDER "Onze Danses pour la Migraine" was released on the label of Marc Moulin : Label Kamikaze 🤩 https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_Hollander
  6. Marc Moulin and Marc Holander knew each other, because I know that TELEX (Marc Moulin group) released some records on Crammed at the end of the 90s. I imagine he knew each other and we must have met before, maybe in the 70s / 80s. Marc Moulin is a great musician who has influenced so many younger musicians. For St Germain I don't know, not as the artist was born in 1969, I imagine that his very talented Belgian "fathers" must have influenced the music of the young Frenchman from St Germain en Laye.
  7. Mine MARC HOLLANDER / AKSAK MABOUL LP
  8. Mine MINIMAL COMPACT LPs
  9. And then of course Marc Holander's group, himself: Aksak Maboul. A 1977 record: Onze Danses pour Combattre la Migraine / Eleven dances to Combat Migraine Cover photo tomorrow
  10. Hi @Full Range If you are looking for Marc Holander's productions, I recommend a fabulous band he signed on his label Crammed Disc in the early 80s Note: To respect the thread I will take the pictures of the vinyl covers tomorrow, it's to late here Minimal Compact And then also Tuxedomoon
  11. Great Belgium group I see Front 242 in Live in 1987 or 1988 in France 😜
  12. I forgot the photo of the discs: I bought 45 rpm in 80', in the middle Polyphonic Size and TC Matic "O La La La C'est MAGNIFIQUE"
  13. Wonderful French musician: Magma with notably a brilliant drummer Christian Vander and a fabulous bassist Jannick Top https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jannick_Top https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Vander
  14. @ MeloManiac Superbes et belles photos d'Arno 😎 Je vous remercie, car je vais connaître ce groupe d'Arno, certainement à ses débuts. J'ai acheté beaucoup de disques et cassettes belges dans les années 80. Disques Cramed, disques PIAS ... J'ai beaucoup d'albums de Marc Holander, Front 242, TC Matic avec Arno, 2 Belgen, The Neon Judgment, Polyphonic Size, Aksak Maboul ...
  15. Hi, In 1975 when I was 12 years old I bought with my pocket money, which I had gotten by taking care of the vegetables of my father's garden, the 45rpm (EP) of a German group which made the weird music with unfamiliar instruments, the cover was some kind of black and white radio* (or measuring instrument?): I loved Kraftwerk! And here I have just bought 46 years later the German version LP of Kraftwerk RADIO AKTIVITÄT with a beautiful yellow pocket and inside a superb libretto and the record in the white and black radio: superb "Madeleine de Proust" * there is a photo of the back of the device, but since everything is written in german i don't understand what it is, see here my version, more pics https://www.discogs.com/fr/Kraftwerk-Radio-Aktivität/release/16027624 nb: @MicroMara must know all these fantastic German bands well: I have vinyl LPs that I bought 40 years ago from CAN, DAF, Einstürzende Neubauten, Amon Düül II, Faust, NEU! ... Arrrrgggg! my photograph is cloudy, maybe radioactive waves 🤢
  16. @MeloManiac Hello ! For Belgium > To find vinyl LPs from Thelonious Monk and others: I am in France and to find new or used vinyls, I bought them from Jazz Messenger in Barcelona. The prices are good, the opportunities are of good quality and the transport is very good. Otherwise for excellent quality but more expensive occasions there is Paris Jazz Corner in France. https://www.jazzmessengers.com/fr/vinyl http://www.parisjazzcorner.com/dis_liste.php?page=3&ArtNeuf=&ArtOcc=&lang=&AutNom=monk&AutPrenom=&ArtTitFr=&op=&ArtAn=&SupNum=vinyl&SgrNum=&cd=&vinyl=&rech=avancee&LabNom=&InstNum=&ArtCaractFr=
  17. The Thorens TD124 😍
  18. Hi @Fido So you must be interested in a French singer who made wonderful music, who was beautiful, who acted in superb films, in short be curious and search for her music, her photos, her films, her life ... I am sure you will like it nota: she is accompanied by the musicians of Elton John
  19. Hi, I see that there is an autoformer on this network, if they have different sockets, it can perhaps be lowered by 2db without putting an Lpad. this is what you meant @wvu80 😎
  20. Hi, If you want to reduce your 8ohm tweeter by 2.8 db, use R1 = 2.2ohm and R2 = 22ohm If you want to reduce your 8ohm tweeter by 2.2 db, use R1 = 1.8 ohm and R2 = 27ohm ... https://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/attenuators/l-pad-attenuator.html You have to put the R1 and R2 between the network and the tweeter If the resistance value R1 or R2 does not exist put 2 resistance in parallel to make the right value, for example for a reduction of 3db, we have R1 = 5.6 + 3.9 = 2.3 and R2 = 33 + 47 = 19.4 (I rounded the values and results a bit, but it's ok) 2.3 (5.6 + 3.9) 19.4 (33 + 47) 8 3 list of values R1 R2 impedance reduce db 2.8 (6.8 + 4.7) 15 8 3.7 2.8 (6.8 + 4.7) 16 (33+47+90) 8.1 3.7 2.8 (6.8 + 4.7) 17.1 (27+47) 8.2 3.6 2.5 (6.8 + 3.9) 17.1 (27+47) 8 3.3 2.4 (4.7 + 4.7) 18 8 3.1 2.3 (5.6 + 3.9) 19.4 (33 + 47) 8 3 2.2 22 8 2.8 2 (3.3 + 5.6) 24 (39+68) 8 2.5 1.8 27 8 2.2 1.7 (2.2+6.8) 31 (47+90) 8 2 1 (1.2+8.2) 56 8 1 😋
  21. Hi @Joe Carter This is what the panel does not retract on Heresy III and Heresy IV, because the speakers are mounted from the front. So to access the interior of Heresy IV you have to remove the bass speaker. look here https://blog.son-video.com/2020/03/test-klipsch-heresy-iv-lenceinte-compacte-3-voies/
