    Congratulations on this wonderful Leben, it's one of my current favorite amps, although I haven't had the chance to listen to it. I like the possibility of using the bass boost and I find this function great. It is indeed possible to make the selector operate correctly again with specific product for the contacts.

    Hi,

    I had the same problem as you in 2016. When I bought my Cornwall IIIs, no one was selling them in France, I found them in Germany at 12 o'clock (one way) from home, in addition they were not in the store, but in boxes packed at the importer. Impossible to go listen to them, I ordered the speakers on the net with closed ears. And I was right, because not only did the price double a few months later (from 3000 to 6000 € the pair) but the sound is really what I was looking for: a dynamic and lively sound, good with all music: from Rock to Jazz, and Classic, from acoustic to electric. If you are really interested then take the step, but only you have the answer to know if it is worth it. I think the biggest flaw is that the speakers take a long time to break in, and a lot of people listen to them new out of the box saying they're stiff and lacking in bass, it creates a bad reputation especially now with the internet.

    The Maroilles, a French cheese from the Aisne and North that smells oribly strong, worse than you can imagine. We live in the South of France, my grandmother put some in her well packed luggage when she came down from the North of France and the whole car of the train felt the horror.

    To reassure you, normally the HERITAGE series is not hard, unlike what is often criticized a little for the Klipsch Reference series

     

    On the 500C there are small tone controls, use them if you find your CWIII too harsh to start with.

     

    Also think, as it was said above, that if they are new to soften them gently with programs rich in bass for a few weeks !

    A damn gifted French stuntwoman, Champion of Stunt competition. She has shot several films as a stuntwoman and understudy of Scarlett Johansson / The Avengers 2 & Black Widow (release scheduled for 2021), Claire Foy / Millenium, Zoe Kravitz / Catwoman in The Batman, ... With more grace than the men on the bike.

    If I had Cornwall 1 or 2 (on CWIII there is not enough space 😪 ), I would have tried to mount a horn like this one with a Faital Pro or BMS driver. I think there is room and even to put the K79 on top.

    And to stay on topic, it is because there is not enough room on CWIII to mount the K702 (or equivalent).

     

    For the difference between CWIII and CWIV, I notice that apart from the demo at Klipsch with Chef Bonehead, no one has listened to CWIII against CWIV in the auditorium or at home. It's a shame, because I would like to have this opinion.

    I'm relaunching the subject a little, I don't know if @veloceleste has continued his research, but what do you think of my possible project, I hesitate to do that on my CWIII

     

    I will read the rest of your reviews carefully, because I would like to make a 2 or 3 "stand (in addition to the original 2" riser) for my Cornwall IIIs. And also I look at what to put to move them easily, I saw the 3M "gliss" pads which seems excellent for moving, they exist with rubber to insulate a little.

    The advantage is that the CWIII remains original and everything is absolutely reversible. The hidden part will follow the internal shape of the riser (in particular to prevent falls) and the support will rest on the bottom of the CWIII thanks to elastomer supports for large industrial machine tools.

    Note: concerning Gripsols, they are self-adhesive, but I use them with their protective film, so they do not stick and will not damage the bottom of the CWIII. I would stick them only on the bottom DIY support
