  1. I was talking 70s. I get stuck back then at times! Wish I had a time machine. I would go back.
  2. 396 and 427 are the best two Chevy engines ever built in my unimportant opinion. Both tough as nails. My cousin had a 427 in a short bed Chevy pick up that was bad a$$! 4x4 with a locker in the back, and tru track up front. Never had to go to four wheel drive in the mud, unless you just wanted to.
  3. I have worked shift work, for over 35 years! I started at 21,and seeing the new hires they are getting, the old guys can’t move due to lack of experience. I work around chemicals that are far from good for you. I have been lucky enough to make very good money and have 2 good pensions coming my way. If I thought I would have to work until my mid 60s,they could shoot me now! I may smoke some meat for friends or get a job at a guy I knows car wash a few days a week but I most likely won’t. I can take a drive, thru the bottoms, or go camping down the road and be happy. Less than two years to go and I can’t wait!!!!
  4. My brother just passed at 69. My father died at 64. I’m going to retire at 58 and try and have alittle fun before I go. I heard this the other day and it’s very true. In a very short from now it will be along time ago.
  5. The only way I like candy corn is mixed with peanuts. It tastes just like a payday. Bit o honey was one of my favorites. And slow poke. And that slow poke will most likely get some replies for sure😍!
  6. They are not speakers of any kind. Just to help with reflections. Acoustic panels that look like speakers for the cool factor.
  7. Anyone can cook. You just have to know how to read a recipe. After that its trial and error. Or just make it up as you go.
  8. I fixed the tri tip yesterday and it turned out very very good. I kept it simple, and did pretty much what was recommended on here. Browned on all sides using bacon grease in cast iron skillet, then baked in cast iron at 425 until internal temp was 140 f. I though for me I would like this little more medium, and not medium rare or rare. Very juicy and just a small touch of pink in the very middle. Seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. With the tri tip I made potatoes and onions wrapped in foil, and fresh asparagus. I think the wife was impressed! Thanks for the help.

  13. Typhonics SP- Tiles is what they are called. Not much on the Net about them.
  14. I just picked up a tri tip a a butcher shop a few towns over. This place has some killer meat! I should have not went in there. Picked up 2 really nice ribeyes also. I had to get out of there pretty quick. OK experts how do I want to prepare this. I could find ways online but I want some ideas on here:
  15. I guess I should have said the Sugarcube.

    Moai Finished

Stop it Edgar! I just wet myself! Thats a nice area. We just took a short road trip and stayed just 2 days. We stayed at the Drury Inn across from the Casino. Every thing around the hotel was new. The town itself is very historic. I love looking at the old homes. Do you live in St Charles Edgar?

I think you are a warlock! I never see these very often but now im seeing them everywhere. I just hope they don't start chasing me! Im not a fast runner. Saw a big one down by the river in St Charles MO this weekend. Thats very cool by the way.
  19. Ive been thinking about one of these, with the dac and amp together. Just to keep it small. Im showing the amp alone, because that was what you asked about. I like the Schiit products also. https://jdslabs.com https://www.headfonia.com/review-jds-labs-atom/2/
  20. Has anyone had a chance to hear one of these magic boxes yet?
  21. I just got my first pair of wireless earbuds. Only been using about 3 days, so its not much of a review. Did not spend a ton on my first pair. I guess you could say im just getting my feet wet. I got a pair of Jlabs Jbubs and for 50 bucks im pretty happy so far. Use them with spotify, and haven't used the controls on them at all. I just use the volume and eq on the phone. They have a sport model and IP55 is a rating they use for being sweat resistant. A guy was there at Best Buy when I was looking at them, and said he used them at work under ground mining, and they were tough, and stay in your ears very well. They sound good enough for the price, and using Spotify's EQ. Im happy enough so far with the sound for when I take my walks. They have 3 basic EQ settings also. Hope this helps. If I get something that cost more I will most likely get wired ones. But these have been worth the asking price, just to play around with. I hope this helps.
  22. Just tell them what I do. It’s not real big around, but it sure is short!
  23. Peace to your family! So sorry for your loss.
  24. I don't do facebook either. Have heard they frown on not having social media but im not into it either. We ll except for 2 or 3 forums.
