When I purchased LPs I opened them in the store. I examined them visually for scratches, marrs, and dust. I did this in the presents of the salesman. If it didn’t suit me I opened another til I found a quality product. I was so thrilled with the introduction of CDs that I bought my last LP in 1983. Good luck with your nostalgic noisy medium. Gave up LPs in ‘83 and switched to CDs for this and other hassles associated with analog (noise). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The K Horn needs the reflective surfaces of the corner because the room corner becomes part of the speaker. This is plans that PWK drew up for a false corner. You have corners so 3/4” plywood of these dimensions should work.

If you like changing the way the music sounds that’s OK with me. I view EQs as gadgets for people to tinker with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve seen the last three installments. I’m in the hospital so the audio is horrible over the nurse call controller. Plan on purchasing. Ken Burns is a national treasure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Best Heresy placement in garage?

Many years ago when I visited the factory in Hope in the testing lab for finished speakers, there was a reference K Horn mounted upside down on the ceiling in the corner. The ceiling acts as the floor in a corner. I don’t argue with the Colonel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

The ceiling reflects the bass the way the floor would. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Shouldn’t need to repair anything unless you are extremely careless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Tom, if your Cornwalls sound great don’t fix what ain’t broke. Just enjoy. My LaScalas are 46 years old and my Heresys are 41 years old. Still sound great and never been touched. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
