  1. When I purchased LPs I opened them in the store. I examined them visually for scratches, marrs, and dust. I did this in the presents of the salesman. If it didn’t suit me I opened another til I found a quality product. I was so thrilled with the introduction of CDs that I bought my last LP in 1983. Good luck with your nostalgic noisy medium. 2. Gave up LPs in ‘83 and switched to CDs for this and other hassles associated with analog (noise). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks it’s a mysterious never ending road that keeps changing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The K Horn needs the reflective surfaces of the corner because the room corner becomes part of the speaker. This is plans that PWK drew up for a false corner. You have corners so 3/4” plywood of these dimensions should work.

  6. If you like changing the way the music sounds that’s OK with me. I view EQs as gadgets for people to tinker with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I’ve seen the last three installments. I’m in the hospital so the audio is horrible over the nurse call controller. Plan on purchasing. Ken Burns is a national treasure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Heritage is Klipschorn, LaScala, Cornwall, and Heresy. Anything else is Heritage in Name only. Heritage are speakers designed by Paul W. Klipsch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Many years ago when I visited the factory in Hope in the testing lab for finished speakers, there was a reference K Horn mounted upside down on the ceiling in the corner. The ceiling acts as the floor in a corner. I don’t argue with the Colonel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The ceiling reflects the bass the way the floor would. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Can you place them upside down in the corners at the ceiling? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. That’s a silly analogy. I’ve still got the first CD I bought in 1983. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I will use CDs the rest of my life. Kicked noisy vinyl in ‘83 and I can’t see paying for something I’ll never own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. Shouldn’t need to repair anything unless you are extremely careless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Tom, if your Cornwalls sound great don’t fix what ain’t broke. Just enjoy. My LaScalas are 46 years old and my Heresys are 41 years old. Still sound great and never been touched. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
