They look very nice, well done….Regards, Rod -
I have the 404 paired with Lascala’s, works great and fits under the tv...Rod

The 404C physically were the best choice for me. They're the center channel between a pair of Lascala's. They do a very good job, really noticeable with TV/Movies.

Pls advice: Center channel recommendation for RP-8000F towers

I think you'll like the RP-404C, I have one as the center speaker with a pair of Lascala's, I'm very happy with it. -
Center speaker for my klipsch belles?
Rod Sheridan replied to Ike13lol's topic in General Klipsch Info
I am using an RP-404CW as the center speaker with a pair of Lascala's. It was a big improvement for watching movies and the speaker is small enough to go under the TV.........Rod. -
Agreed, when you see the woofers it's a bad day.

Andrew Robinson very favorable LaScala Review
Rod Sheridan replied to Bubo's topic in General Klipsch Info
I agree with his review, there are many speakers with better test results, yet the Lascala's just sound so great as most people here know. Yes the low distortion and efficiency make up for a lot of failings, I found his review to be one of the few accurate ones. My wife also is opposed to replacing our Lascala's with anything else, even though they're big and are the black lacquer finish which doesn't fit in with our furniture. I have an R90/6 BMW that I joke about, saying that aside from the brakes, chassis, gearbox, clutch, electrical system and suspension, it's a great bike. That also is true, on any measurable metric the R90/6 falls short, except for one, the shear pleasure of riding it. That's why out of the bikes in the garage it is the one with 500,000 Km on it. There are many things we really like even though they may not be the absolute best, good thing too as otherwise Diann would replace me with a more up to date model 🙂 -
My room is 18' X 11'..............The Lascala's sound great........Rod.

Try another source such as a CD with the amp set for conventional 2 channel operation........Rod.

Hi, I may not need a center channel speaker however it made movie dialogue much nicer than without......regards, Rod.

I'm running the RP-404C with a pair of Lascala's. With 6dB boost for the 404 it sounds just fine as a center channel. Maybe there's something wrong with yours? How does it sound if you hook it up as a main running alone? If it sounds bad there's something wrong with it.

I guess I'm lucky, Diann doesn't mind large speakers, we went from a pair of Altec 816's to a pair of Lascala's which she likes......Rod.

Thanks for all the input, yes the surrounds are off to the side, couch against wall, surrounds against wall facing the couch. Regards, Rod.

Hi, I have a living room in a townhouse with a pair of Lascala's as the main speakers. I would like to add rear speakers and was considering the R-620F's as their efficiency is OK ( my receiver has a maximum of 10dB rear boost), and they fit in with the décor. Any comments? Thanks, Rod.
