they have surprising bass on there own, very tight and no shortage of it. I Agee with you, however, for what I listen to, deep bass is ESSENTIAL. These hit surprisingly deep frequencies and Def move air, but that is my preference. I bet If I had them in a proper larger space with a slight eq bump at the bottom and a subsonic filter, I could possibly be satisfied without subs.

very cool speaker especially for a small footprint. This is the MAIN reason why I bought them. Best speaker I could buy in the smallest footprint, highest SQ and SPL and lowest price. I don't even have the ability to pair them with subs yet and I'm still thoroughly impressed.

I'm looking forward to one of my buddies gigs where I can bring the 396s and actually use them to their full potential. I can tell they will be damn impressive. If you think they sound good at reasonable volumes, they get exponentially better the louder they play.

P6 is the new one they just released. Yeah I had the p5 but the DAC on that one was quite average. Sounded ok, just not great. Then again I had a benchmark DAC3 prior to compare it to. I will use every piece of this new preamp. Why I'm buying it. Will save me a lot and sound great.

I wanted the Honda CRV but it has known problems with the 1500cc turbo charged engine. I have that engine, its tuned (ecu) and it's my daily. My motor certainly doesn't have that problem.

"Kind" of on a diet I'm on the see food diet myself. That pork loin certainly appears to fit into my strict adherence to my diet well.

I haven't purchased any budget mattresses. I am willing to spend the coin on something you will keep presumably for 10 years that controls your overall health and well being. Do research on sleep deprivation and that in and of itself should push you in the direction of buying a quality mattress. I'm sure there will be those that claim BS to this idea here as wellthough. My 2 cents.

Sit n sleep claims to have a scientific in store measurement for what in theory should be neat for you. If you are determined to only buy at Sam's claunch, perhaps that test could still be of use to you to point you in the right direction? I bought from there twice. Take the wife. Aireloom
