  1. weather is perfect tonight and tomorrow,.... everywhere,,,, just remember, 3 large speakers require a reasonable sized box truck, it's not unknown to drive half way across the country, then arrive at your destination, in a WillyBob Nissan lol
  2. Thought I could assist in the photo department, regardless (sp) of the parameters concerning conditional appendages
  3. b double e double r un is over... back to the boards ---> Jimjimbo, do you use an oscillator to verify polarity for each cap before installing, I saw that on a utube video and never realized that was something to consider... oh yeah... and pictures too

    Mesmerising

Very nice, I wouldn't say odd, just cool to see perpetual motion where friction is replaced with Fission lol...
  5. Stick one of these over the clock.... in light of any final decision..... this keyboard quarterback concept would introduce a left/right downward throw in relation to quadratic residue diffusion...
  6. …. under normal condition's, I would be inclined to reply with "say what"... but after a couple of minute's think about mentioning an addition to an "all around the world coffee" comparable to mr mcCafe lol
  7. … the last spot, perhap's…. (for experimental purposes) replace the clock above the TV with one panel... but I wager that you might not have a handful of panel's at your fingertip's for the moment... so this idea come's into motion.... for a poly semispherical diffuser, as seen in PWK's dope from hope articles.. which could entail using a picture frame hung backwards (for testing purposes) with the panel held into place, in the routered picture channel frame.... just an idea....
  8. I have a large 22 lb fat hairy 4 legged black and white rattlesnake that I found in my front yard bushes about 10 year's ago....
  9. Thank you, that was my 3rd imagination, but didn't include that observation - in case there was a 4th experiment....
  10. question @SWL what did you say the large black upright 7' looking rectangular objects are, in the front wall corners ? I was under the impression, that corners were reserved for the Klipschorn or a Bass Trap, the later being triangular....
  11. Thank you for posting that, I saw that earlier this evening and thought about putting it up here, but just glad you did... one topic had me over in the Dope from Hope section lol... the Jan 66 vol 7 no 1 was relative to the L2, just take PWK's word....
  12. @JohnA I don't have an HIE, but looking at an older cad drawing of one crossover, the tweeter and squawker +'s driver connections are drawn from the - input.... ??? Reverse polarity...
  13. where are all the cat's ??? as soon as they get wind of that street I guess, then the dog's should show up next and put the mop action into effect lol, I mean it could turn into a real cat and dog fight... man, when they said that Hurricane would have biblical proportions, they weren't kiddin'.... but turnin' water into wine ? Free Fish, let the word out ...
  14. … (speakin' bout gravity) I'm looking forward to 5pm, when I pop a top on a can of Dos Equis this evening... since my 2 cup's of mcCafe seemed relatively good this morning... I'll be spending the rest of the day trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with me lol....
  15. …. if the end result, is to switch this engine into another vehicle after being able to see if it will run.... can you mention if this experiment is going to be built into a "hot rod" per say, like a 50's pickup ? Just asking that, because the ecm will have to go in there too, and the safest way is to pull your ecm out and send it to a performance shop, and have them delete (reflash) all the functions that won't be swapped out or used again.... If you look at everything this ecm does, it is a decent computer, and it will be looking for every sensor that used to be in the wrecked truck. Especially the codes you mention to start out with, like, if those area's in the truck aren't repaired, then boom, they'll come right back. http://www.pcmofnc.com/product/hot-rod-start-up-tune/
  16. Andy, will any pictures of your crossover's and K5 squawker or tweeter be forth-coming ? Will you also be including discussion about exploration of another metal oil can capacitor, such as a Cornell Dubiiler from an electric motor perhap's ?
  17. @JohnA posted the Schematic for the crossover a couple of lines above, which can be found on the first page of the older topic in this tech/mod for crossovers, which is 12 pages, pinned to the top of the topic list
  18. this schematic is from an earlier post in the forum, referencing a 1955 K500-5000 , but with a red line added, for which my memory escapes me at this junction...
  19. attached... the bulletin mentioned in the above letter
  20. Hello, when I bought my 54. the sellers had a network modification letter from Klipsch of how to update the 54 network to a late 57, I'd be glad to post it here if your interested, just to view.... nevertheless, it might be noted, I'm just reading this forum post to gain some insight on my crossovers too....
  21. priceless is having to wash out your coffee cup between each refill, and thinking to yourself, gotdanggit, whats wrong with this mcCafe...
  22. Steve Fromholz, "The Man with the Big Hat" - a very fine 6:17 song, from Texas, take's you back in time.... put the link here instead of the embedded video, the video just has the album cover... yes, the first 1:10 is part of the song, enjoy https://youtu.be/B6huf30jHd8
  23. my bottle of rain-x is approaching the 10 year mark, sitting in the garage.... used it once... HEY, I should put my can of McCafe out there....
