  1. From what I've heard, no one consulted Roy about showing non-corner placement in that video. Apparently, these are still corner horns like the previous version and require corner placement for proper performance.
  2. I no longer have that impediment, which is why I already have a preorder. 😁
  3. So I'm guessing I won't see my Jubilee until 2022. Sad face.
  4. Well, Roy said they will sound good in my smallish living room. Now they just need to release the darn things. In the video released at CES I heard availability in the "summer of 2021". Labor Day and then the Autumnal Equinox are rapidly approaching...
  5. Paducah Home Theater put together a comparison video between the just discontinued version of the Jubilee and the latest Khorns done by Trey who is an engineer at Klipsch and Jason who does video content for Klipsch. Klipsch battle of the biggest and baddest - Klipschorn VS Jubilee

  7. Actually, KSP-S6 are fairly sought after as they were also marketed as the matching surrounds for Legend Series speakers. They were even sold in the Pro line as small cinema surrounds. I have 4 pairs of them. Great surround speakers. HiFi Shark Sold/Expired listings show prices ranging from $200 to $350. https://www.hifishark.com/search?q=klipsch+KSP-S6 I paid $250 for one of my recent pairs. The vinyl wrap peeling off the end caps is common with those. The two pair I purchased recently were like that. It's easy to peel the wrap off. You can then either paint the end caps, re-wrap with vinyl, or be crazy like I did and get them veneered. 🙂 I know I won't make back what this cost but they look great with walnut veneer.
  8. Thank you so much for pointing me to this product. Got my Lokius a few days ago and I'm loving it. I've been going through a bunch of old rock recordings where I love the music but don't listen to much due to the shrill recording. For example, the Genesis album Wind and Wuthering sounds like it has little bass but it didn't take much bass boost and shelving down of the treble to make the bass sound pretty realistic. (Sadly, I was also surprised to find a few where the bass seems to be truly absent and no amount of boost helped like Led Zeppelin IV. However, I haven't found many of those yet.) This may have been the best $300 I've spent on audio gear. I've already ordered another one for my basement system and will likely get two more (one for my office system and one for my upcoming Heritage Jubilee system) in the near future.
  9. I like the appearance of the speakers. What I want to know is when are these speakers going to be available? The wait is killing me.
  10. Mine was crinkled into the printed area. The vendor definitely employed packagers who didn't care that they were damaging the item.
  11. The poster I got was damaged along the bottom edge. I emailed Klipsch for a replacement. They said it would take 2 - 3 weeks. They did a quality check on the poster inventory and found they all had been damaged from the vendor. They had to order replacements. So, I imagine it will be relisted for sale when they get the replacement stock.
  12. I'm not sure if it's a "guarded secret". However, the dealer asked me not to post the pricing online yet since Klipsch hasn't officially launched the product. This dealer has been good to me so I'm going to do as they asked.
  13. I don't feel it's my place to announce the pricing on a public forum until Klipsch does. I'm pretty sure all Certified Heritage Dealers have the pricing and will tell you if you enquire. If it was COVID lockdown then that should have caused more cinema products to be discontinued. I have only heard of the KPT-JUBILEE/535-B being discontinued.
  14. Agreed as well. I have a preorder in for a pair of Heritage Jubilee. 🙂
  15. Agreed. I only call it the "Pro" version because it was only included in the Klipsch professional cinema product line as Klipsch did not decide to market it as a consumer line product until now.
  16. There has been a Pro version of the original Jubilee design for years. Search for Jubilee on this page: https://www.klipsch.com/pro/cinema/behind-the-screen. Apparently, they didn't love it as the Pro version is now discontinued.
  17. Just curious if the sale went off as expected.
  18. I got an email notification for three of the four items for which I entered my email: the poster, the gray "elf" (actually halfling) shirt, and the unsigned book. The fourth item was the signed book, which I don't think was made available for sale yet. They may be saving that for the official 75th Anniversary launch.
  19. Darn it! Glad it worked out for you and the buyer though. 🙂
  20. Yes, that does look interesting. Looks like it's high enough quality and has a transparent bypass. I could maybe put this between the pre-amp and amp for the L&R channels for tweaking all stereo material when I want. Thanks.
  21. OK, Thanks. It's an option I hadn't considered but adds some complexity. For the traditional graphic equalizer option, are there any quality ones that can be recommended?
  22. Thanks Chris. I assume that would require having a PC connected to use as an eq, correct?
  23. So, I just discovered and read through this thread a few related ones. All this makes sense to me as I've always suspected mastering shenanigans on the part of the record companies, especially all my favorite classic rock music that was mastered to sound "good" on FM car radios. However, ripping and demastering all my music collection is going to be a gargantuan and time consuming effort. It also won't help with the stuff I listen to on Amazon Music. So, I was thinking of trying to do some demastering "on the fly" as I listen. My first thought was maybe using the analog output from my Oppo disc player/DAC, taking that through a good quality graphic equalizer, and using an alternate analog input on my processor. I'd use that path when I'd want to listen to obviously badly mastered recordings and do a rough demaster at listening time. Anyone have an good recommendations on a good equalizer (or some other equalization device that I'm missing). I was going to look at some of the old AudioControl eq's since they were designed to be low noise but I'm not set on that. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, if anyone thinks I should start a new thread for this question, let me know and I'll do that.
  24. Just remember that if you don't sell it as one lot that I called dibs on the center for sure. 🙂 I'm less sure about the sub. I don't really "need" it for my office P-37F setup as I have a perfectly adequate SVS sub for that small room. It just that my OCD wants me to have a Palladium sub with all my Palladium systems and this is the only one that doesn't. 🙂
