  1. Thanks. I can't wait until they come out. Irrespective of how the pricing was/is done for the pro version (I call it that because it was a product of the Klipsch Professional division), I would expect the new Heritage line version to be more expensive than the Klipschorn. However, whether the "how much more" will be worth it to anyone other then myself I can't say. With regard to availability of the pro version, I never said anything about that. My understanding that the last production run was done about a month or so ago. I know that @Paducah Home Theater posted on Facebook about shipping out his last ones I think about a week ago. So, there may be existing stock out there but unless someone's been lying once those are gone that's it. My nit picking about the performance of the pro version came from my listening experience at the Chief Bonehead's speaker class back in 2019 where we got an extended listening session conducted by the Roy himself. The bass was the cleanest I'd ever heard but it didn't seem to extend much into the first two octaves (16Hz, 32Hz octaves). Whether that's important for music will depend on the type of music you listen to. I listen to a lot of classical and jazz in addition to rock/pop. For classical/jazz with string bass, piano, orchestra, organ and more, you need coverage in those first two octaves to my ears. At the other end I found the top end with the stock driver lacking the extension and sparkle that I get from my Palladiums. None of this was egregious but it was just enough to want to stick with my P-39F + subs as my primary music speakers at the time. I'm gambling from what I've seen in the preliminary spec sheet and the video for the Heritage version that Roy has fixed these. 🤞
  2. I'll just say the northeast. Not sure how many visitors I want. 🙂 Yes, those who purchased the pro version of the Jubilee likely got a significant discount in the past. Perhaps that was done to keep the product alive. I have no idea what kind of markup the dealers got for those but I bet the financials weren't great for Klipsch or the dealers at those prices. A product like that should cost more than the Klipschorn. Also, the Pro products are not subject to universal pricing so deals could be made. I know people are disappointed in loosing what may have been one of the best deals in audio but that's the decision that Klipsch has made. I'm very fortunate that my financial situation allows me to afford them. I never purchased the Pro version because while they sound amazing they had a few limitations that kept me away. First, you still need a sub to cover the first two bass octaves. I didn't want to pair a direct radiating sub with a fully horn-loaded speaker and I don't have room for a horn sub where I'd want to put them. Second, the stock HF driver rolls off too early for my liking and I didn't feel like purchasing and fiddling with a replacement. Finally, even with the beauty panel the cosmetics aren't great. Looking at the specs and pics of the Heritage Jubilee it appears that all those limitations are gone.
  3. I never said I got any special price. I am paying the retail price like anyone else will. Heritage products have "universal pricing" (I think that's the term for it) and aren't discounted unless it's B-stock. If you contact any Certified Heritage Dealer you will be given the same price.
  4. Would you consider selling and shipping one WC-24? Unfortunately, that's all I'm after.
  5. I'm not sure if the pricing is officially public information yet. I've seen some other people repeating correct and incorrect ones. However, I don't feel it's my place to reveal the pricing until it is obviously public. Just contact any Certified Heritage Dealer. The people over @Paducah Home Theater will gladly tell you without committing to a purchase. 😁
  6. Yes, the Certified Heritage Dealers know the pricing. I know because I already preordered a pair of Heritage Jubilee with @Paducah Home Theater. 🙂
  7. That's for the current Pro version, not the upcoming Heritage version. The Heritage version will be more expensive.
  8. Good luck with the search. I'd like to find one more of those subs as well. Palladiums are becoming really hard to find in the US. The centers, surrounds, and subs are particularly hard to find. I suggest creating a free account at https://www.hifishark.com/ and creating saved searches for things like "Klipsch Palladium" and "Klipsch P-312W". The site aggregates searches of an number of audio and non-audio (like eBay) sale sites. At least that way you'll get an email notification if one pops up on the sites HiFi Shark searches.
  9. I've only ever used Murphy's Oil Soap to actually clean a wood finish that was dirty. For example, I recently acquired a pair of Icon WB-14 which have a multi-layer lacquer finish. The speakers were quite filthy when I got them. From the looks of them you'd think the seller intentionally tried to cover every square inch of the veneer with greasy fingerprints. I used the spray version of Murphy's Oil Soap sprayed onto a soft cloth to get off the greasy fingerprints. When I was done with that I noticed the Murphy's had left a residue on the finish even though the bottle claimed no rinsing was required. So, I followed up with a wipe down with a dampened soft cloth to remove the residue and a drying with a second soft cloth. Now they look great. So, I wouldn't recommend using Murphy's Oil Soap unless you actually need to clean something off. Klipsch's care instructions for lacquer finished are just occasional dusting.

    P312sub?

I know that I bought the last one of the "new old stock" P-312W converted from European to American voltage that Paducah Home Theater had last year. Also, it's been a long time since I saw any come up in the used market. If you want to find one, set up a HiFi Shark saved search and hope one comes up for sale (and that I don't buy it first 🙂 ).
  11. Speaking of the size of the new Jubilee, have the dimensions of this beast been released yet? There's no point in me contemplating this financial folly if they won't fit where I want them to go. 🙂
  12. These stands are now gone. Anyone here get them?
  13. I have elevated P-27S as side surrounds in my two Palladium theater systems. They are really great surrounds. I couldn't do P-17B for the sides because of the narrow room width. It would have meant the horns blasting directly into the ear of the people in the side seats. I even tried the P-27S at ear height in my basement Atmos system but even that was dominating the sound in the side seats. I had to put them at the height recommended by Klipsch for them to be balanced in all seats.
  14. Let us know how you like them. Just remember that if you decide you don't like them to let me know. Now that you've brought them closer to me I'd be more likely to drive to get them. I've made a Palladium speaker road trip from PA to TN before. 😁
  15. I was kind of disappointed. I was hoping for that price that they'd have some Linea accents and maybe have a boat tail shape like the speakers.
  16. Thank goodness the 39s sold. Now I can't be tempted for a while.
  17. Thanks. I fixed it. For some reason it grabbed the period at the end of the sentence when it make the hyperlink.
  18. Palladium speaker stands from Klipsch - They do exist! A while back I had run across references (e.g. on the P-27C spec sheet) to stands for the P-17B and P-27C. One article on the web said "The PFS-24 accessory floor stand is priced at $800 per pair, while the PFS-18 center stand is $650 each." At the time I could find no references to these when searching the Klipsch site and hadn't found any pictures of them on the net. Well, today that changed. While doing my periodic HiFi Shark search for Palladiums this eBay listing popped up -https://www.ebay.com/itm/143947496149. Apparently, these stands were a real thing. Posting in case someone with a P-17B setup wants them.
  19. Ah OK. So, the ground level channels are Palladiums. I did something a little more crazy. Mine is actually 7.1.4 where the all ground and height channels and one of the three subs are Palladiums. The picture is the front stage but I've done the same heights in the back too. The overhead localization isn't as good as ceiling speakers but the coherence of the "dome of sound" is much better with the heights timbre matching the ground. Apologies for hijacking the thread to talk about Palladiums but I was curious if there was another setup like mine.
  20. Just curious what you are using for the Atmos speakers. You're the first person I've heard of besides myself with a full Palladium immersive surround system. Are they P-27S as height speakers?
  21. Lucky for me, my family room has doorways that won't allow rear towers or I probably would have snapped those up. 😂
  22. Yes, I know he does. I don't need those either! 🙂
  23. Ha, you sound like me. As you saw from my system lists, I'm already using 37s as rear surrounds and 17s as Atmos speakers in my basement. Doesn't get more ridiculous. 🙂 I certainly don't need those 39s. I don't want to get rid of the 38s and I don't want to get rid of the mahogany KLF-30 that I have in the living room (a room that hardly ever gets used anyway). Also, is it really worth it for 26% more woofer area (yes, I did the calculations). However, the irrational part of my brain is like...
  24. That's the problem with joining forums and FB groups full of enablers. They don't help you resist temptation. Some buy those already and save me! 🤣
  25. You asked... 🙂 The rest of my systems and "in storage" (i.e. no current place for them, some will go to my son when he graduates college and get his own place).
