  1. Get it! lay it on it's side and put the horn on top for the center. I saw your finished product on the last 2 and they look great! I have 3 and love them for LCR ( L&R vertical and C horizontal). Had to raise the TV a few more inches but well worth it.
  2. Looks good mookie, nice shop! Too far for me to go but hosting a local build party sounds like a fun way to socialize in person and share some knowledge/tools....
  3. You are correct, these are composite. Didn't know they made metal ones too.
  4. It's not in any of his pictures but he may have it loose from the top section or I have seen some mounted on the side of the bass bin near the binding posts. Looks like this and would be mounted on the outside somewhere, not inside.
  5. I know where there's a single (1 only) top section that's for sale but not listed anywhere, yet. Not sure what they'd want for it but probably a reasonable price, located in southern California. It has the passive crossover (for KPT-335/435 speakers), K-510 horn w/ K-69-A driver and K-703 horn w/ K-70-G driver plus mounting brackets. Not sure about posting their contact info here so PM me if interested and I'll pass it on.
  6. Anyone looking to part ways with a single KPT-4350-MS or have a line on one, please PM me?! I’m located in San Jose, CA Thanks!
  7. Will these work properly with the dual driver 904 base bin? Or will the lower 4 ohm impedance change the characteristics?
  8. I picked up the 435s from these guys. Turned out they had a third so I grabbed it too. Curious what you don’t like about the dual driver base bin. Mine shipped Friday, not sure when I’ll get them yet. I want to try them 3 way passive, 3 way active and 2 way active. Active’s new to me so it’ll be a learning curve, I’ll be looking for help in the forum.... Hope you enjoy yours.
  9. https://reno.craigslist.org/ele/d/sun-valley-beta-klipsch-speakers-big/6837718930.html interesting speakers, thought someone here might know what they are and have interest. no affiliation
  10. A similar pair just sold in Northern California a couple of months ago, asking price was $1500 if I remember correctly and I believe he got his price. He posted them here...
  11. How’d He get those Belles to look like they’re wet, especially the inside of the top hat .... I’ve oiled my speakers before but not with anything that makes them look like a mirror.
  12. Can anyone tell me if La Scalas built in the late '70's had an option for grill cloth on the top hat? A friend has the pair pictured and it looks to be a DIY add, especially with the finishing nails holes on the trim pieces. Thanks in advance.
  13. here's a link to the same amp on craigslist https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/ele/d/pair-vintage-mcintosh-mc-30/6732828343.html he's asking $2800, located just north or San Francisco

  15. https://sacramento.craigslist.org/ele/d/klipsch-kp-301/6731157530.html no affiliation. Just haven’t seen these before and seems like a reasonable price after reading up on them in the forums. Located in Northern California.
  16. Very nice Belles Tyler! Are the crossovers the only upgrade? Do you have the originals?
