Welcome,I see 800.00 was about your limit.If you can go 850.00 or so, you can get the Denon 3803 online w/warranty.At that price its very hard to beat,feature for feature,sound,build,7.1,.If you must buy local 1k or so,tooo much ya say,either of the other two you mentioned are still good performers.

Very nice system's,I have heard a similar set up to the latter,it was kinda harsh on the highs.

I have no brand loyalty on avr's,the Denon 3802,3803 just sounded better on my rf7's than the other four I tried,to my ears.I suggest you do a trial at home for about a week with units you can afford,thats what I did.I actually had several pieces of another company and wanted to keep it all the same,but after trials I now have a Denon.The digital connects run through the AL24 circuitry,music is fantastic.

I have about 200 concert dvd's,Steely Dan's "Two Against Nature",concert is the best quality dvd I have heard.I have the studio album on dvd-a(I am a fan) and it does not sound as good as the dts live version,go figure.

Could we please put this webmaster in quality control at klipsch,that's what I call service.

m00n,I don't know if klipsch would like us banning members.We could effectively ban by not reading/posting on the most far out rhetoric.I understand you would like a quicker solution,but this would be the high ground,which is where I think you want to be.
