Mine will not be touring, but are no where near their final home and will be used indoors and outdoors when they get there. I hadn’t considered ‘bama chrome paint though. Thanks!

Mine need some TLC already. Probably will go the patina route since my trim is pretty beat. Although a ”silver” horn would probably look pretty good in them. IMO.

Maybe. I think @MookieStl is probably correct that the mix in the alloy is the factor. Magnesium has more porosity and would change the characteristics of the aluminum.

I’m going to say get them closer together (maybe 12-15ft) and maybe a sub in the middle for fill. A good DAC, reasonable interconnects, and 150+ watt solid state. Personally use an Onkyo M504 which can be found rebuilt well within budget.

I too have multiple systems. My primary and secondary both La Scala. The CW that we’re my primary have hardly been used since the LS moved in. Gotta be the big *** midhorn.
