  1. Ok, It's cold outside and I'm getting the itch. Few new ones laying here and naturally a few more on the way. Gonna see what shakes out shortly. Great lp right there! Their new one is in my stack. Good but initially kinda uneventful. I'll know more when I hit them shortly for the second play. hahaha Just picky old me. Pressing plants are cool. Amazing how it all comes together to get that end result. I have quite a few of their pressings and the quality is pretty amazing compared to most out there today. They have to have some kind of purification system built into their HVAC. They're making big bucks on vinyl pressings today and say the quality is much better but is it really? That's the question.
  2. Mid 20's here and down again tonight. Thinkin about warming up things in here a bit. Actually made two pancakes this morning. Impressive huh? Could be cabin fever. Could get the blower out but I somehow think retrieving the garbage can will be enough. Spring is right around the corner. Another day in paradise!
  3. Challenge after challenge but they both had a great end result... Stevie Vai & Zakk Wylde
  4. Phil Ondich who was the drummer for Zakk early on now lives here in town. Great guy, laid back, throws 'em down just like Zakk. Well almost. lol Best darn drummer I've every heard around these parts. He swings by every couple weeks just to kick back and listen with me. Great guy and also one heck of an artist. Nothing excites him. hahaha He's also worked on a couple of Ozzy's tours filling in. First time I ever saw him I was lie wtf is this sitting in on a lil sit of traps and runnin them perfectly to whatever the other guys decide to play. He knew I was watchin and that broke the ice. Thought sure he was gonna miss it one time and somehow he hit it and wowed me. He slips here when he has to get away from his live in. hahaha Guess it's on me. Kelli is a sweetheart though and just gorgeous. I might or might not have one or two tours stories. lolol
  5. Was nosin around Phoenix last evening and there's a station out there listed in Chandler, Az., which flat rocks. The EAGLE.FM. Find something you like? Post it up and let's nose! You ain't gettin nuttin free from Musk! hahaha He's got a couple solar electric Lambo's me thinks already! hahaha
  6. Can I get back to you on that Joe? There's gotta be a "free" way for me to get it and then sell it to you. hahaha
  7. The American way! Take something that's free and exploit it into millions. Someone had a vision one night, did some nosin and found out alllll the stations world wide were on frequencies and presto they're driving Lambo's and livng in mansions while people send them money. Nice!
  8. Ha! The finer things in life.. One of the best drummers in the business... Enjoy
  9. Yea, they're all hassle free. Few commercials and a stable connection. Find something somewhere and chill. Kinda cool I think!
  10. Atta boy Chief! Thanks for the heads up. I love turning heads w/my gear. They all leave going wow and nose a bit more. After hearing my 2-channel system a couple months ago my brother-in-law wanted a new Sony home theater system. They tried to push a Sony speaker system with it but he went with a Klipsch system and just loves it. I haven't heard it yet but as long as he's happy that's a good thing! Kudo's to corporate! BTW, what's your extension in case he has problems? 😂 🤣 😂 😎
  11. That Jakester should be all over that people food. Hope they get him straightened out soon Chuck!
  12. Gonna get nasty up here for the next couple weeks they say. Where's the weather thread? Ugh!
  13. OSUMBB tonight @ 9 on FS1. Maryland WILL give 'em a run. Coach Holtman has certainly turned them around from the beginning of the season. He totally focused on 3-ballers and still does but they better be able to play inside too. They listen they'll do nothing but get better I think. He's got two stellar recruits ready for next year. Ballers ball!
  14. Ok, this is insane. Pull up the world and click anywhere to hear what that local station is playing. That British accent you always wanted to get the chicks back in the day? Piece of cake! hahaha Enjoy! http://radio.garden/visit/saltcoats/G37XwJWe
  15. Me: Singing along w/the halftime show? Youngest in Phoenix: LMAO 100% Youngest in Phoenix: This is the guy we saw when we jumped the fences in Coachella Me: Lame! Me: Sorry I told you to jump the fence. It's on me. Won't happen again. hahahaha Youngest in Phoenix: LMAO Youngest in Phoenix: I'll never forget it! Me: Well I'm glad it's something you'll never forget and had a great week there. Me: Just glad you got to go and it worked. Me: Just an FYI. The half-time show was not shown in AU. Youngest in Phoenix: I'm drunk Dad lol Me: Good. Get someone to take you home. Youngest in Phoenix: Got a ride. Me: Joe Burrow tweet - Why did the Chiefs put the Bengals O-line out there? Youngest in Phoenix: 🤣 Chip off the old block me thinks. The absolute WORST half-time show I've ever seen. They KILLED it! Amazing logistics to pull it all off! Link for the good stuff! https://www.airforcetimes.com/news/your-air-force/2021/02/04/heres-how-the-air-force-will-pull-off-a-triple-bomber-super-bowl-flyover/?fbclid=IwAR1mVAeDEsX4HElBGteXeHQ4spIaQxPPZoDTEy8fgk4nVTTaxZVkmwd9aMo

    Jokes?

Now they tell me I only need to wear two masks. Sheesh!
  17. Just kinda hangin out today. It worked for me! John Mayall huddled up w/some stellar friends back in 2001 releasing this. Got lucky and snagged this remaster. Some good stuff right here! Also picked up this limited edition of Joe Live. #1715 of 2500 so the stamp says but... Great 1990 release either way! Following the hit movie track "The End" from "Apocalypse Now" the Doors followed up with this their "Greatest Hits" lp in 1980. Some good stuff to make your ears smile.
  18. Gary Moore was another incredible one. Sooooo many great ones have transitioned to the other side. The memories though? They'll ALWAYS be with you. Now what about Keef? I'm hangin with him! 😂 😎
  19. E Street Band? Ya can't even mention Springstreen w/o thinking about his E Street Band and how that magical fit just happened with them all.. The big guy @ 6'5 always took command when he walked out on stage w/his tenor sax. Every time you saw Clarence Clemons you knew he could take you down. It was a given w/Springsteen's following. From the first night walking into an all white club and "telling" Bruce he wanted to sit in and getting the nod, to his death, Clemons WAS the man. From jazz n blues to rock? Yea, he killed it. RIP Clarence Clemons.
  20. Nils is Nils. The future backbone, replacing Stevie Van Zandt, of the E Street Band, had some solo tours and did 50 years of session work for so many artists. Doing flips off mini tramps without missing a lick and leaving the crowd spell bound, couple new hips, shoulder work from gymnastics when he was younger he's still going. Musta been that accordion his parents had him play as a kid. Great song for kids to live by IF you can get them to listen to him. Yea, "the whole world is mad!"
  21. Beautiful job and they won't disappoint the new owner. Love my 81's w/the K55V. Nice change of pace from my LS. Torts & Tarts huh? You're forgiven! lol GLWS
