  5. Nice. Bet the new neighbors will be happy to meet you...
  6. Second the VH Audio, Chris makes great products at real world prices, and is a heck of a nice guy to deal with...
  7. I'll be darned if I didn't sell the thing....no more pics for me...ONE YEAR!!
  8. Mike - I have tried mine both ways and went with the pre (tube). Best I can do for a description is it just plain sounded overall more refined and smooth with the pre in the chain.
  9. Not to be overly opportunistic, but I have a very nice Panamax 5300 I'd be willing to make anyone interested a good deal on. It's 6 months old. Drop me an e-mail.
  10. Well I certainly couldn't agree more....
  11. The best I heard in it were RCA Blackplates, but if you search audioasylum or audiogon, there are plenty of other recommendations...
  12. Get it stock and upgrade the tubes, don't go for any of the lower level mods. The JD100 is a heckuva player once you get the right tubes in it.
  13. No doubt B&K is excellent as well. Where Sunfire takes them, IMO, is the different taps for current and voltage which allow you to take the edge of a forward speaker by putting a 1 ohm impedance off the current posts....my two cents and experience having owned both...that said, neither would disappoint
  14. I have a Philips Pronto TSU3000 with docking charger and a Panamax 5300 power conditioner. Both in great shape. I also have a 13' Monster DVI cable (M500DVI) and about the same length ElementCable component cable. Drop me an e-mail and let me know if you're interested in any of these. Peace.
  15. I haven't heard the 200.7, but owned a 7250 and it was one great amp, can't imagine the cost difference would yield that much improvement, but I've been wrong before....
  16. Any thoughts on different makes I should get to try in my pre? Thanks in advance for the usual great advice!
  17. The AudiogoN BlueBook lists the average resale price for KHorns at $1810 but does not account for year made, condition, etc....
  18. Curiosity question, looking for ideas. I use a pretty inexpensive VTI with spikes under each shelf and shot filled.
  19. I think their flat fee is in the $235 range, but they also inspect and address any issues they find for the same cost. I would get it if you plan on having that done, I would not if you don't plan to....FWIW
  20. Pimp name is Master A. Flava Porn name is just weird, Buzz Valley Park
  21. Glad to hear you're happy with it Bill, they do make great amps.
  22. I would agree with Doug, go for the best 2-channel you can and then build from there, you'll be happy you did.
