Excluding myself, Klipsch is a smart buy, for the quality of sound for the $, this equals a smarter customer = smart people on the forum ? Ok it was just a guess, [:|] I am here to use others people's brains, because mine hurts trying to figure some of this out, good question though ! If you ask most people on the forum they would also say it's a much better looking crowd also, but many stretch the truth in that department, one even thinks he looks like Kevin Costner ! [*-)]

Tommyboy, I just noticed what speakers you have, I had almost the same. I had SB3 ,SS1, SC1 and a diy sub, it sound's very good, especially compared to what you can get from other companies for the same price. [Y] You don't hear much here on the forum about the Synergy, I would bet that would change if everyone heard them set up in 5.1 or more with a sub ! Yes, the synergy's are great speakers. Especially for the price. Not that my speakers are dis-continued, you can get them for about $1,000. (without the sub anyway). What did you do with yours? Sell them? Thats about what I paid without the sub also. Well what happened was I started collecting Forte ll's for a HT. And of all the people that had visited our house when had the Synergy's set up there was one guy and his family who just loved the sound of them, he was amazed. It's was a relative that lives about 50 miles from us, they lost there home from the hurricane and was rebuilding. When my daughter was in nursing school she would stay there sometimes, so she would not have to drive after a long day of school then clinical time (sometimes 18 hours). About a month before Christmas that year my wife and daughter came to me and asked what I was planing to do with the Synergys ? Well they wanted to give them the Synergy's for a Christmas present, because they really liked them and it was going to be a really long time before they could get anything like that, they were just hoping to have enough money to rebuild the house. So that's where they went, to a good family who really appreciated them, they are still using them today. The kids were just as happy as he was, if not more, the wife was not so thrilled because he had a new Hobby. [:|]

Me to Daddy Dee, checked out a few others and fell asleep. I do sometimes read other places if researching something to buy, looking for patterns of problems with a certian product, or many happy customers.

There's NOTHING wrong wit the Synergy speakers ! It's just like anything else there is always something made better with a bigger price tag, no matter what you buy ! I think there is alot of value in the Synergy series, I had some and it was from before they updated them, the new ones are better. And they sounded very good for the price. From what I have read the new Synergys were about equal to the RF lll line a few years ago and they were Reference series !

Thats true the pumps should not cause any problem, it's just an electric motor, amp must be bad. Maby change the fuse and get some of them plastic things like they use to stop kids from sticking things in an outlet, that would stop the electricity from just leaking out the outlets, there won't be any to spare with just a 15 amp fuse.

I train working dogs so yeah I am familiar with the damage dogs can do. Turning them over to the dope the dog up group is asinine!!!!!!!! These situations are management and training issues. If the only way a person can control their dog is to dope it up they should not own the dog. The ultimate solution is to get a dog that fits your lifestyle, not just because the prospective owner likes the way they look. I have a dog that had horrendous separation anxiety issues. What ultimately worked for us was to leave for brief periods and build the dog up, and some patience on our parts to accept the problem would take some time to correct. She about nuked our yard but now youd never know she had as bad a problem as she had. All dogs have separation anxiety, they are pack animals, the severity of its manifestation is the only variable, actually the better the dog the harder this issue is to correct because their pack drive is at a very high level. What it takes is time, patience and observation to find what placates the dogs anxiety to keep the problem manageable so they can work through it. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Good answer, some of the same problems are the reason SOME kids are on it also ! Drugs is not always the correct answer , unless you own a drug company and are looking for more sales. The reason for the fuse or breaker to match the wire gauge is very simple. If you put a 30 amp fuse or breaker on a #14 wire and draw a large amount of current, or have a short the whole wire will glow red hot and melt the insulation and start a fire (before) the fuse or breaker would blow or trip Just the opposite of the way it is designed.

Bruce you are correct, when he seen that many 30 amp fuses, he should at least said something, there is no way that house is wired with #10 or larger ! No way, if the house is over 15 or 20 years old they would be very lucky to have #12.

13 fuses at 30 amps, even on a 200 amp box in not normal , somebody put bigger fuses. The largest average wire for outlets an lights is #12 on any house I have ever worked on, I did that in a past life. Anything larger than 20 amp for lights or outlets in NOT normal. I wired our house with all #12 and 20 amp breakers even lights,. with very few outlets on each circuit and dedicated runs for anything above a general outlets, like TV stereo, refrigerator, microwave, and of course everything larger. Plug in a portable lamp or something where amps plug in and turn off the breaker to the pond and see if the lamp is on the same circuit. Just an innocent bystander here, I have know idea what the problem is, just a thought to see if it is the same circuit or what else is on that circuit.
