They will be perfect for what you like to listen to, I don't know about your electronics because I never heard them but the Cornwall lll's are not particular and your equipment should be really nice on the Cornwall's. You made a good choice, they will sound very different from the RF 83's. The Cornwall lll's will have plenty of bass and mid bass, on some music I actually turn down the bass a Little on them if playing a little loud. EDIT...See how slow I type Michael had not posted when I started typing !

Looks good, I did something similar one 6" pipe in the center for some Forte ll's, I just painted them black, but I like your colors, and the 3 pipes look better. I cut it down to try it out on top of another speaker to lift the Fll over a bigger horn. [:S] I don't know if it is going to stay or not, if it does I will repaint or at least clean it !

Obviously your not talking about me but let me ask another question. If you use one of those sniping deals to bid for you and say you put $500 as your highest bid, then the seller puts a $500 BIN does the snipe buy it automatically or does it only work on bids ? If the snipe( it's called something like that ) works on BIN also just put your highest amount you would pay and let it go.

They say Tong oil is good, but for my oiled speakers I use Linseed oil, that's just to many speakers for one tong !

A few years ago when look for a receiver I listened to Onkyo, Denon and Yamaha, I went with a Yamaha, I didn't really like the other two. It could have been in the price range I was looking at also, around $500 your looking at far from the best from each company, I wish I had listened to a HK, seems many like them also.

[Y] Being they have to go on the short wall and don't have to go directly in the corner like the Khorn and can be turned to point in the right direction I would think the Belles would be just right in a 10'x 16' room, much better than a square room. One thing about Belles if you don't over pay you could always sell them and get your money back if you want to try something else.

Sorry to hear about this, hopefully it will turn up and was just misplaced. I hope you were home and had some people over when it disappeared , because as hard as it is to believe it is better than a stranger breaking into your home, that is worse. I have heard it, and it is unbelievable, he has 2 of the THX subs with it. We watched the movie Open Range and listened to a bunch of music, it is the BEST HT I have heard yet, and it looks great also.

That 10' ceiling does make them appear a little shorter, the black speaker on the white wall is a little tough to try to make them blend in. Looks good and I know it sounds great, you only live once enjoy yourself .......I like the strange look on peoples faces when they notice big speakers. For Mothers day my neice came here and after about an hour she said, are they staying in here pointing to the speakers, I thought you were building them for the workshop ? I told her no they are for inside, I have a few more things to get and they will be working... Her next words were..when are we going to have a party ? [Y]
