ClaudeJ1
Van Damm Dammed nice my friend. I'm going to have to check those out when I am up there with Luther at the next AudioKarma Fest. Travis Well, my place is nothing much to look at, more like a dungeon than mansion, but it does sound good and it will keep evolving, so sure, come on up for some Northen hospitality. My turn to buy the drinks, party boy!!
ClaudeJ1
My original Khorns were all natural birch, which I oiled myself. I really like that look and those MWM's are gorgeous that way. I'll bet Klipsch only made a few of these, eh?
mark1101
I've been very happy with my "short stacks", and my own version of simplicity with 2-way and ALK ESN passive networks. The least complex of anything I have tried and the best sounding so far. I do think those raw birch MWMs are gorgeous and probably rare. HPower
For anybody that would like to jump into the deep end with Claude and Mark, I just noticed this ad over on FeaBay:Item # 180321480387For someone close by in Texas this could be a nice find...As part of a church system, I am sure they were driven by an old lady, Sundays only. mark1101
The one they are showing looks to be in great shape. I'll bet you could steal those for a song. There are four being offered. That would be perfect for a 2 Ch system. The nice thing is that those are the -S models (singles). They fit nicely through doors and are no longer made. The current product are doubles and are monsters to handle and carry through doorways. Those look like a great find for someone. If I was in Texas I'd drive over there and try to buy them. greg928gts
I wonder what four S-models per side would sound like? Greg
ClaudeJ1
Well they woudn't fit in my house, but if one had a 10-foot ceiling, it would work.................kind of redundant/overkill if you ask me, but I'll never know for sure.
