colterphoto1
NOooooo they're hilarious. Thanks for posting! Mr. Rodriguez sure had some insight into how the audiophile brain works. Most 'normal' people might have no idea as to the punch line in these.

DTLongo
Thank you for your encouragements. Starting with the last ten or so "goodies" from the Rodrigues book. Check back every couple of days or so.

Wrinkles
DT, I have really enjoyed the cartoons. Any idea how many were published or how many years he was drawing for the stereo mag? Wrinkles
kwingylee
Hilarious....I can relate to this
DTLongo
In reply to "Wrinkles" question I don't know how many total cartoons Rodrigues published but the "Total Harmonic Distortion" book I mentioned at the beginning of this string has some 120 of them. I know that's not all of them since the "electric chair" cartoon I mentioned at the top of the string isn't among them. The book contains an autobiographical squib by Rodrigues, apparently dating from 1976, that says he drew cartooms for Stereo Review since its first issue in 1958. I'm getting close to the end of the "goodies." Here's another.

Moderators dtel Posted August 4, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 4, 2009 Very funny, it's a shame no one has picked up where Mr Rodrigues he left off.
