Colin
http://www.spike.com/blog/top-10-football/73015?page=2&numPerPage=1 Not sure I can agree with this list, how about you? What about "We are Marshall?" The Longest Yard?

Colin
As a mature look at the game, the personalities and the big business of professional football in the U.S., Al Pacino, Jamie Foxx and Camren Diaz must rank at the top in Any Given Sunday. Yet the next one that comes to mind is the cheesy, romantic comedy with Kneau Reeves and the always-good Gene Hackman, The Replacements: “Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory... lasts forever.”

theryugobuddy
North Dallas Forty is a classic, too. Remember the Titans is the best. Special mention for Forrest Gump for the hilarious Alabama running plays out of the stadium--
kelA
I almost expected an honorable mention for, The Waterboy. "You can do ittt"!!! []

JHoman
Friday Night Lights was a good one, lot of truth to it. I played my high school and college ball in TX in the late 70s early 80s, very much a religion there.

Moderators Amy Posted March 18, 2010 Moderators Share Posted March 18, 2010 Not sure how I missed this thread! One of my all time favorite movies in any genre: The Last Picture Show. Not much actual football shown, but it definitely plays a big role. Also, Everybody's All American, Lucas, Wildcats and The Best of Times. Cheesy, but fun. jacksonbart
I thought 'Wildcats' was about the effort to resuscitate Goldie Hawn's movie career after 'Protocal'. It was unseccessful by the way, she never recovered.
Bill H.
To me it is the NFL 1968 "Hedi Bowl" game movie..................[:^)]
Boxx
The best football movie hasn't been made yet. However, I did enjoy Invincible, with Mark Wahlberg.
