Anyone get this? I don't remember seeing this person on the forum and it seems..well, odd.

I need some advice. I have a friend who owns some Klipsch Cornwalls.
purchased in 1978. I owned a pair in about 1987 and I'm interested in buying
this speakers from her. I sold mine years ago. I have the paper work here on
these speakers she is willing to sell me but don't know if I should. My concern
is age. I have not seen these but I'm certain they are in excellent condition
meaning not abused. They look exactly like the ones I bought in 87. What
would you consider a fair price and what do you think I should look for in
regards to insuring the speakers proper performance? I really need some
guidance. Thanks Jean

Okey dookey then I see Jean has posted the same question publicly. Guess maybe "they" are not after me.

Welcome, Jean.

Age/smage. Gotta give us a little more. Photo/info off the tag/asking price......but then if you have been without Klipsch this long you NEED a pair.

Once in a blue moon, I'll get an email that appears to come from the forum, from somebody of whom I've no idea (beyond the few that I get from regular posters from time to time). One was asking me about music recommendations, since the sender took a keen interest in my taste in music (must've been following the "listening now" thread). Seems we have some lurkers that just ask via e-mail instead publically posting. If the message looks genuine, I try to give a genuine answer.

A while back when changing something on my profile someone I had never seen before showed up as a "friend " on that page, I don't use that at all, I don't know how it got there ?

Was it a thin guy wearing a sweater, i think Mr. Rogers was his name? "Hi there. Can I be your friend?"
