Vick's Pit
Were the RT-12 and 10 discontinued? I don't see them anymore on the sub products page. Are there replacement subs in the works?

jimmy4300
I'm really surprised no one from Klipsch has chimed in on this. It's been a week now, and no official word.

Moderators Amy Posted December 29, 2009 Moderators Share Posted December 29, 2009 Sorry, I don't always see every thread! Yes, those subs have been discontinued. There are others in development []
Thaddeus Smith
how very anticlimactic .. thanks for the clarification, though! Typically, how long are parts such as grills, drivers, etc available for purchase/repair once you guys discontinue a product?

Typically, how long are parts such as grills, drivers, etc available for purchase/repair once you guys discontinue a product? Sorry for the lack of earth shattering information [] I believe we make parts available for at least 7 years after products are discontinued, but in many cases it's much longer than that. rgdawsonco
Discontinued? Well, I'm sure glad I just snagged a Cherry RT-10D at my local audio shop. I got a heck of a year end closeout deal ($749). The thing is beautiful and the triangular shape is perfect for my application. The performance is spectacular. It replaced a SUB-12, which I think is also spectacular for the money. I'm very glad I got this baby. I wonder why it was discontinued? Fizzlemizzle
$749 new or for a display? Either way that's a good deal and the cherry finish is a score.

It was a display model, but in perfect condition. I wonder what Klipsch has coming to replace it
