sammyr
Is a 16' x 13' room too small for La Scalas or Belles? Currently using Heresy III's with very good results but thinking of kicking things up a notch. . .

sammyr
My heresy's are cherry. Was thinking of La Scalas or Belles because of the bigger midrange horns. Plus they look really cool. Also concerned about possible boominess of Cornwalls because they will be in corners. Am interested though, will PM later with more details. rontec
Plus they look really cool. Never had the pleasure of hearing "Belles". But I'm sure they sound as good as they look! Beautiful speakers.
IndyKlipschFan
Get the bigger horn in the La Scala. (It is the same as a Klipschorn.) You will thank yourself, and me, later.

Size queens Belles are easier in room placement and less likely to split a toddler in half .
sammyr
I DO have a toddler, so that's a good point. Rontec, thanks for the link, but if I brought those home I'd get nailed inside of them and buried in the back yard. My wife hates big black speakers. She actually likes the look of La Scalas, which I think is unusual for a female, just not black ones.

Now, I don't think she even notices the black gorillaz in the room.
JL Sargent
I must say liking the look and having them standing in front of your sofa can be two totally different experiences. I really like the astetics of the Belles, which I have.
