Hifi jim
Elvis Presley toured outside of the US only once, why? Cuz he was in the Army? Because his manager, Colonel Tom Parker, was not a naturalized citizen. He had kept this a secret from the media and was afraid to apply for a US Passport, fearful he would be deported. Elvis performed in Canada in 1957, but Colonel Parker remained in Washington State during the tour.
