CHASLS2
I would like to replace a old 1997 Polk sub i bought for $30 used a while back for a better sub. This will be for my bedroom Pioneer Kuro, F3 fronts and a C3 center. My room is 12x16ft. I would like to keep the cost under $400 or even cheaper used. So what would be a good choice? jason str
are the sub-12's worth the money? Great hard hitting sub for movies and such but for critical music listening i would look elsewhere.
Ironsave
I just made a deal on RF82's and neve used RS42's. Don't know if i will need a sub now. You can still benefit from a GOOD sub. Trust me. I got one of these for $359 on sale and am SOOOO happy: http://emotiva.com/ultra_sub12.shtm There are other subs out there..... Used Sub 12 will be pretty good for movies..... If you want a more accurate sub for music..... That's gonna take some research on your part. Good Luck.
edwinr
I heard the SW450 recently. This sub is the sleeper of the Klipsch lineup. It doesn't look much - no fancy veneer - but properly placed into a corner, this thing punches well above it's price...
