steve Wildesmith
is there anything I should be aware of to watch out, like parts changed out or whatever. I know when buying guitars I have to look at the pick-ups and see thay haven't been swapped out for cheap one, for example. Will a standard inspection suffice? here's what i'm looking at. he has come down to 1200.00 but that still seems high to me. http://ottawa.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-Klipsch-Cornwall-II-Speakers-HUGE-CONSIDERING-TRADES-W0QQAdIdZ249185287 Steve in Ottawa Canada

Budman
can't read the label but that doesn't look like oak to me. looks more like birch. can you get him to tell you what is says on the label something like CBR
willland
Steve, Welcome to the forum. Looks like birch to me, definitely not oak. Oak would have a very pronounced deeper grain. Price does seem a bit high even at $1200.00. Good luck, Bill
djk
+1 on the birch. May be a little pricey, unless it's local and just what you want.
tillmbil
Hmmm must be too late to see the picture from the link. But the price is definitely too high

Only a pristine pair might garner than much coin, but not in birch; unless of course they are decorator cornwalls and pristine condition.... JMHO.
