seti
Two authentic letters from him survive, from which come the only universally accepted details of his life.[7] When he was about 16, he was captured from Wales by Irish raiders and taken as a slave to Ireland, where he lived for six years before escaping and returning to his family. After entering the Church, he returned to Ireland as an ordained bishop in the north and west of the island, but little is known about the places where he worked. By the seventh century, he had come to be revered as the patron saint of Ireland. So in honor of St.Patricks Day also have a fine Welsh beer if you can find one. I rather like Brains. Dennie
Hey Boxx, I was stationed in Hawaii (Schofield Barracks, 25th Infantry Division (Light)) and there were no snakes there either. I think it has to do with it being an Island! Dennie
Boxx
Hi Dennie, I guess that is so, unless you live on the very big, big Island of Australia.. LOL... The Eastern brown snake is responsible for around 60% of deaths caused by snakebite in Australia.
Dennie
Yeah, I like to keep my "islands" a little smaller, this was our biggest concern on Oahu..... Dennie
