The ES5800's ALK built the ES400's were built by another member with all the correct parts down to the terminal badges a nice job not as nice as ALK but respectable also these will not work on Belles because they need a 500Hz woofer- squawker crossover point unless it has a horn that goes down to 400Hz.

Did Kg, end up using these in his Lascalas. If so I would like to know how they sound. Has anyone compared the ES to the Gentle slope. I know there is a tremendous price difference. I was pricing out the ES400, it alone is costly to build.

I sure don't know where these went; no responses from offeres to buy. I have ES5800 and the gentle slopes @350 hz so I ordered a match for my center and hope to have it in about a month. All three will have the Volti 2" ers.

did you buy the recent ones as a pair or single, how do you like the gentle slope and how do you like the belles crossed that low. I was thinking of building one ap350 and one es400, to compare.
