mustang guy
Virtualyl all gas and diesel engines have fuel pumps in the tanks now days. They run cooler as they're immersed and quieter as well. You should be fine. Nevertheless, I am going to roll it outside the first time I put power to it. JL Sargent
I'm guessing the original ECM gets tossed? How does that work. I have a '07 GMC Sierra SLT myself, your creating BAD thoughts in my head. [] I guess I'm wondering if an engine like this could be installed and retain the original ECM tuned for this motor. I don't think an 07 would be a candidate for this kind of surgery. There are lots of things you can do, though! For less money than I have in this, you could buy a supercharger kit for your 07. Here are a couple threads on the topic for those interested in getting around the stock ECU's: http://www.gmfullsize.com/forum/showthread.php?t=145089 http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f13/holley-tps-for-carb-for-4l60e-461127/ Personally, I am going a different route. I am using a TCI controller for the transmission, the new ECU for the engine, and I will be sending the apropriate sensor info to the dash, so the guages work. I will disable the check engine light. I have actually done this before, and it is a little confusing, so you really need to take your time and sleep on it.... The 94 Sierra had 165 HP in a 350. Very unsatisfactory! Now it will have 385 HP, and 385 LB FT torque.

Audio Android
Wow..!!!...It looks great all buttoned up.....Those braided lines are nice. That is quite a surprising engine bay for a 94' GMC Sierra.....[H]....Nice work!!
