Any reason you went with the X over the EP4000?

Sustained, not peak.

EPX : EP

1440 : 1250 RMS output at 2 ohms x 2

3000 : 2400 RMS output at 4 ohms Bridged

Found it cheaper as well.

It also doesn't have dip switch config. Regular labeled switches. That and it has RCA inputs added.

This one looks a little tight to get in there, but open end wrench or thin long nose pliers should get it.

I will probably just hot glue the nuts on the fan to put it back in.

I didn't want to cut the factory harness in case I ever wanted to go back stock. You can use connectors from the old school home portable phone batteries if you can find one. I have access to automotive wiring harnesses so I just pulled a connector apart and used some of those.

The X amp looks a lot different than the old EP's. Really nice.

Never had a problem in the past. You might try e-mailing them again. In the mean time, I'll try to get ahold of my son. I think he has a phone #. He's at work so it might take me a bit.

I would greatly appreciate it. I have emailed them, filled out the contact us form, replied to the email saying my order was going to processing, and emailed again this morning.

Nope, the number my son had was an employee that doesn't work there anymore.

He said that they are the warranty company for the old Ascendant Audio drivers and that the contact info for them is 702-379-4371 or 702-476-8587. He's had those #'s for a while, don't know if they're still good.

They're very active on this forum.

Typically response is very fast.

According to the reply to your post, facebook is the way to go.

That was my reply. I had just posted on their first. They said they emailed me Monday and I didn't get it for some reason. They responded to FB within minutes.

Had I noticed the big blue "F" logo on their site first I probably would not have had an issue. Very responsive, my work might have blocked the email or something. No worries, and Thank you.
