I was going thru some old totes that i had in storage and came across this

JVC XU-301 MD-CD combo i havent seen this thing in about 13yrs and didnt even remember still having this unit plus all the minidiscs,

its still in mint condition and works perfectly Just thought i'd share my excitement [:D] its getting hooked up to the HT room

oh thats right then came the Ipod

I remember when this unit came out. I was working at Circuit City at the time. It was cool, we thought it would last, and then VERY shortly after, they introduced CD-R and CD-RW Recorders and out it went.

i had a Sony MD unit in my car at the time and i remeber it was so much easier

than CD's because you didnt have to worry about the MD getting scratched or damaged

if it fell between the seats not too mention alot easier to handle and load while driving [Y]

The Old Janpanese Victoria Co. I owned JVC gear in college, oh the great memories with the Technic turntable.

I think the official name is the Victor Company of Japan. I used to have a JVC integrated w/7 band graphic eq, built like a tank. It finally died, beyond repair.
