hydro_pyro Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Lately for me, it's been ordinary Glenmorangie 10-year for general sipping, and Ardbeg Uigeadail when I feel like I deserve it. Glenmorangie is the cheapest single-malt at the grocery store... Smooth and pleasant. Uigeadail is expensive, but it's probably the most intensely-flavored whisky in existence, and is quite satisfying in small portions. 1 Quote
hydro_pyro Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Ah, never mind, I still like the Glrnlivet 12 year better for the same price. Picked up some of this last night. Very nice. Lots of bourbon influence. 1 Quote

hydro_pyro Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Lagavulin was my first true Islay malt whisky. I really enjoy the intense and complex flavor profile of the Uigeadail, but I love the smoky smoothness of the Lag 16. Glenlivet 12 will always be my go-to when I'm not in the mood for the peat. 1 Quote
