minermark
Just woke up from my afternoonBender" started by the "Amp warming thread". Two things learned today. 1. My current Two channel Rig cranked to better than halfway, sounded great outside, (Wife Report) Sitting 15', centered, i could feel the hair on my arms dancing. yeah i pushed that puppy today. 2. Drinking over 1/3 bottle of $100 SingleMalt, NO hangover, Zip, Nada, feel great

minermark
Mark, you are still asleep..... When you actually wake up, you will find that your head is pounding... Well, cannot say i did not expect it, however......nothing, Nada, Zip. Took a Nap later that night and got up feelin fine a few hours later, had Cheerios. Amazed at the quality and smoothness of the Distillers Edition, and very afraid it may now become the standard of the house. Reno price was $100 and change, need to check here and see if TotalWine maintains the same pricing.
minermark
Took the wife out for the day, Pub, Costco, Bevmo, Pub. Found one bottle left of the Lagavulin Distillers edition @$120, well that was a NO brainer. Be a year before this comes around again. If anyone has tried the Lagavulin 16 and thought it a tad too Peaty for their taste, i recommend highly the Distillers Edition, same great quality but almost zero on the Peaty taste, amazingly smooth. CECAA850
Wife ask me if anything i need @ Wallyworld, sure babe, picl me up a case of Coronas. Guess im on a Diet ? Did not even know they made a baby bottle A local Mexican restaurant would bring a bucket with 6 of the small bottles as a promotion. My wife would drink one ant I'd have the rest, hey, they were small. Last time we went I ordered a bucket and they brought out 6 normal sized bottles. The wife wasn't in the mood for beer and I hated to waste it. I won't order it again without asking the bottle size first.

They sure do make small bottles, we were walking in Progresso Mexico and seen a little place with a sign out front that said Coronas $1 so we went in . We were a little surprised at the small bottles but for the price is was fine, what we didn't know was with every Corona you get a free shot of Tequila. So we stayed a couple of hours, enough to get lubricated, then moved on, we were walking and no way to drive, plus on vacation . Proof...........I got up a walked a few steps and turned and took a pic, she wasn't expecting it and looks like a deer in the headlights. So if you are in that area and see this place STOP you won't be sorry, it's a fun place......they also had great ceviche cheap. The Dude
I tried some of a buddies scotch and it was pretty smooth. I was thinking instead of my normal bottle of Templeton rye, I would give some scotch a try. Any recommendations?

Duder, read through this thread and you will find many recommendations.
ryanm84
Duder-nice glasses! I've (kinda) given up RBVs because of the racing heart. The maduro sounds like a good idea too!

I have never tried a Red Bull so is it in a drink for taste or the effects ?
