colterphoto1
For sale, RB 5 II Oak, very nice shape 9.5/10 condition. Made between 2001 and 2003, these have only a couple years use on them as I originally purchased a HT setup of 4 of them (only 2 for sale currently), with KLF-C7, which I wanted for center duty. This pair has been lovingly stored, unused at Colter's House of Klipsch since obtained in 2005. A very prominent Klipsch engineer uses a pair of these for mastering at his home studio. The pair I sold previously went to a manufacturer of fine crossover networks, so you KNOW these are a splendid design. Nearly pristine, no scratches or dents, grilles and woofers perfect ( no bb marks, creases, etc) . Only issue I see is two very small holes in the back (that do not penetrate the cabinet) used to attach to a stand by previous owners. Compare to modern RB8II at 44-24K, 97db/w/m (which retail at $425 ea! ) , these are 48-20k, 96db/w/m - oh yeah THEY'RE MADE WITH REAL OAK WOOD VENEER, not black vinyl! Asking $400. Can ship but would really really prefer not to. My email is this Forum name @ aol.com. Hey, these are coming from Colter, you know they're gonna be great! colterphoto1
Thanks, I'll be listing some more stuff here in the near future. Stay tuned. Pick up always preferred, besides where else can you hear a whole pile of Klipsch in one place (ok at a lot of you guys' houses), but it's a pretty nice tour for those new to collecting.

tnr
Very nice looking pair of RB5 II's. I purchased a pair in cherry a few years back from a forum member to pair with RF-7 mains, RS-7 surrounds, RC-7 and an RSW-15 to complete my 7.1 room. They make great rear speakers or would be suitable for mains in a smaller HT setup or 2-channel stereo. GLWS, although you shouldn't need it. I don't have the cash now, but will keep an eye on these. Any interest in trading for four Oak KG 1.5's?

Good pirice for a fine pair of speakers. Good luck with your sale. Bill

willland
Colter, See if you can persuade Marshall to return also and maybe he can hang around a little longer this time. Bill
colterphoto1
The "forum name" being "garage sale?" quite literally. 27,000 posts??? Did you initiate a denial of service attack on the Klipsch site? When I worked in Customer Service as Tech Support from 2006-2008, our job description stated that %15 of our time was to be spent here. That's one hour per work day, plus a bunch in my private time. That adds up quickly. I might add that I was one of only two of us who ever spent any appreciable time here. Seen any employees on the Forum as of late other than Amy??? Didn't think so, this place is apparently supposed to self-support now.
