There appears to be an error with the database. Is the problem with my computer or are others having issues also??? Thanks. If you are seeing this page, it means there was a problem communicating with our database. Sometimes this error is temporary and will go away when you refresh the page. Sometimes the error will need to be fixed by an administrator before the site will become accessible again. I have been trying to open this thread for days now with no success. Arash
as it's an old thread I think it's all about a mix up between old forum scripts and the new one
djk
Just guessing, but I've gotten that message on new topics, mainly on the weekend.

moray james
Thank you Dennis: that was a short but interesting thread. I would love to get the chance to hear Bob C's Type D Cornscala. Have had the chance to compare the Faital elliptical horn and the similar sized 18Sound horn? Best regards Moray James.
Mariusz_
Have had the chance to compare the Faital elliptical horn and the similar sized 18Sound horn? Best regards Moray James. I have had a kind of this experience. I used Faital HF200 in LTH102 but I didn't like the sound. It was too aggressive like PA and lacked some clarity in high tones. I even had to add tweeter to get some balance. I didn't know what to blame, driver or horn. Recently I have bought large German Jabo 72 and the situation is completely different now. Faital sounds like a new driver, balanced FC, no need to use tweeter anymore. So it seems, that LTH102 is strong PA horn, and for home usage it is better to find an other horn. BTW, I also used smaller Jabo 53. Sound was better than LTH, but still lacked something. And KH-72 is perferct combination with Faital. That might be a case of driver exit angle not mating well with horn entrance angle which is not at all uncommon in same brand coupling. Thanks for the information and I am glad to hear that you have found a great horn/driver match for your rig. Best regards Moray James. djk
" I used Faital HF200" Which version (there are four)?
Mariusz_
I have Faital Pro HF200 16 ohm, which without the mouth adaptor is HF140 16 ohm. But I have made mistake above. I have meant bigger LTH142 horn which I used with Faital Pro HF140 (as it is 1.4' horn). Mariusz
