Shodrewken Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I mentioned earlier in the year that I was going to sell my Chorus II's after I picked up my La Scalas, I just haven't gotten around to doing it till now. So without further ado, I'm looking to sell my oil oak Chorus II's in sequential number. I am not looking to ship these, so I wanted to give local forum members first shot before I put them on Craigslist. I would say there are in very good to excellent shape. No major dings, or scratches to speak of. There is a little bit of chipping near the base of the speakers, but it isn't very noticeable. Grills are in excellent condition as are the badges, all woofers front and back are in great shape, and of course they sound awesome. I was able to get the original receipt and documentation that came with the set if you are interested in that. Asking price is $850. I can audition them as well. Thanks for looking! 1 Quote
opusk2k9 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I love my Chorus II, great speakers. Good luck with the sale. 1 Quote
Woofers and Tweeters Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Those look great. What opusk2k9 says: I love my Chorus II, too. GLWS 1 Quote
willland Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Very, very beautiful speakers. Fair price for some big sound. Good luck with your sale. I picked up my La Scalas Is the Acurus A150 driving the La Scalas, or something with a bit less punch and detail? Bill 1 Quote

When my brother graduated from UCLA, for a congratulations gift I gave him my pair of Forte's and the A150, which sounds amazing btw. And he's been using that setup with a Yamaha receiver he's had ever since for his music listening system. Quote

For me, I can't get over how good my Integra DTM-40.4(same as your Onkyo TX-8050) sounds with my Heresy II's. Bill Edited August 22, 2015 by willland Quote
Shodrewken Posted August 22, 2015 Author Posted August 22, 2015 How does the Onkyo TX-8050/Acurus A250 combo sound? That combo sounds awesome! I was very pleased with how well the 8050 could drive the Scala's. However, if you give them some real solid power, even though the 15's don't dig real low, they sure have a ton of mid slam. There have been several occasions where I've cranked it up to 11 and friends have asked how I made my sub sound so tight and precise, and I love seeing the look on their face when I tell them its just the Scalas with quality power driving them. That is awesome and funny. I posted a link in the alert section about an A150 on Audiogon in Marietta, Ga for $195.00 and the darn thing sold for $155.00. I hope one of us got it. https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/158757-someone-buy-this-please-sold-for-15500/ Bill Quote
MORE KLIPSCH PLEASE Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 GLWS... And I also love my Chorus II's. MKP :-) Quote
mjgillen Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I'm fairly local in San Diego however it's just a bit out of reach price wise. GLWS MIchael Quote
jimjimbo Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 If I didn't already have two pair, and I wasn't 2000 miles away, and I wasn't married, and I had a house twice as big, I would buy them. But alas, I'm married..... 1 Quote

mjgillen Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I'm interested however just a bit out of my budget. What's your bottom line? I'm somewhat local in San Diego Michael Quote
Bossman Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I am about 10 miles from Long Beach, but they are on the high side and out of my budget. Quote

Not quite at the point where I'm ready to consider my bottom line. I'm gonna give it a week and see if I get any bites. If I don't I'll list what my bottom price would be. I am about 10 miles from Long Beach, but they are on the high side and out of my budget. If I haven't sold them within a week, I'm gonna list a lower price. Quote
vol_hol Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I like them! I would have replaced my Heresys to Chorus. Is it possible to send them abroad - in Ukraine? If so, I'll buy them! Volodymyr Quote
