Paducah Home Theater Posted April 6, 2016 Share Posted April 6, 2016 (edited) The math on that is over my head without a lot of studying, but it's my understanding that four of them, one in each corner or mid wall point, tames most room modes, with the exception of the vertical modes. Seaton has been stacking them, probably due to this, and there is an explanation about it on the Bossobass site. This will make the bass more directional from front to back vs Omni-directional. The effect is more powerful for the theater seating spots.
