Slant Stage Monitors SOLD

I need to sell off a few pieces so I'm going to start with my 1977 Heresy Slant Stage monitors. They are decorators in lacquered raw birch, good condition with the previous owner having done some small bondo repairs. When I opened them, they looked brand new. Everything is original, IDK if I would recap them, they sound great as they are. I'll be sending them Fedx ground or you can pick them up here, just north of Chicago. Asking $500 plus shipping. Next up will be my RB-5s in Mahogany, probably followed by a single Belle.

TY

Thanks Carl, I think it's a fair price, I just need to move some gear out. BTW, I think your son in law is going to like the Forte 2s, the seller doesn't oil any of his speakers, he said buyers prefer them flat. Post some pics when you get them oiled, they should be awesome

Sorry to thread crap but it gives you a bump. ;)

He came over this weekend so we could see if the Fortes fit in my car and it's a go.  If not, I would have had to take my daughters Jeep.  Momma said I wasn't taking her SUV which had plenty of room. :(

Mark (or anyone else),

A couple questions (my brain is working away ...).  And by the way, I live in Lake Geneva, so I'm "local".  I've been looking for a pair of Heresy's to run with my subs, as my "rock and roll" speakers.  My main speakers are Omega A8's (single-driver ... image like crazy).  I sold my Forte II's 6 months ago due to a lack of real estate in my listening room, and I miss having a pair of Klipsch to crank out the Zep and Floyd to.  Anyway, I assume these are meant to be tight to the corner, like a Khorn?  The corners of the front wall of my listening room are taken up by superchunk bass traps which run floor to celing, but I'm thinking I could mount these at ear level, with the bass traps above and below them.  A pic of the front wall of my room is attached so you can see what I'm talking about.  Any comments on how this would work?  What are the dimensions of the cabinets? I'd like to see how they's protrude from the corners in comparison to the bass traps.

Thanks,

Tom

100 bucks and I'll pick them up at Walmart.....

Which WM? By the Horshoe Casino or the one in Lansing. I won't tell people how you had me running around Indiana and Illinois looking for the WM you were at. But it was a fiasco

AND Carl, I hold you responsible, you owe me a double double martini at the next gathering in April 2017 :D :D :D
