Litium Ion... issue?

Lithium Polymer is the most dangerous one I believe. That's whats in all these phones and such. The cells are thin sheets instead of cylinder cells like with lithium ion. When charging these batteries hydrogen gas can buildup. That's where the problem seems to start. That gas has to vent. But if these is a malfunction due to Overcharging, over heating, mishandling, poor manufacture, etc, things can go wrong. Powerful battery coupled with hydrogen gas can equal pow.
