Mine will replace my KP-301 II's in my garage. I would love to have a pair, they sound really good, so good if I could only have one set of speakers the 396 would be in the top few speakers to pick from. But I am a cheap sob so probably won't happen.
Moderators dtel Posted December 9, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 9, 2016 Just for the record, this was posted by Wardsweb last week, and it's the cleanest sounding sub I have ever heard. It replaced 2 KPT-684's and is clearly the winner, but it is a vented horn, a first, and it's patented. Just another opinion, from a bunch of people whom have actually heard it. jjptkd
Damn man, I like it a lot!! $2600 for the Ki-396 is a bit pricey for me, that's about the same price as the KPT-904's isn't it? I would have guessed around $1600-$1800 for a pair new, shows how much I know.
Marvel
I've seen them as low as around $1800 each. I think they have the K-510 in them (or something really close). Carl, these are pretty new aren't they?

The horn is a 510 or similar with mumps in the corners. I can't tell you how good they sound.
