Schu
I had the nVidia shield for several months... I could never get it to satisfy me. This tivo looks like a simpler more user friendly version. The promise was good, the cost and implementation was less so. I went back to cable/contour. I don't subscribe to any of those streaming services because they are terrible... Netflix, Vudu etc suck. The only streaming service that is worth my dime is the awesome Filmstruck/Criterion, which I do subscribe to.
dtr20
I love my TiVos, I have the original TiVo HD and a TiVo premier XL4. I also have a TiVo mini in the basement that works pretty well
unclefred
Does Tivo still have the lifetime option?

rockhound
Wish these worked with DirectTv. I live out in the sticks no cable available.

I was with DTV from 1993 until about 2-3 years ago (the went AT&T and I will NOT give that company a penny). I beta tested hardware and software with them. How does the TIVO differ from DTV's DVRs? rockhound
I pay 45mth for equipment charges that is insane. If I had this I could just buy the box and be done with it.
A1UC
My Bolt has a built in bridge so all I had to do was put a TiVo mini in each room and enable MoCA . It's a pretty slick setup Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
