mopardave
The ports arrived today. They have strenghtening ribs around the circumferance of the larger end of the port. If i bore the hole 4.25" and slide the port in,it will hit the ribs before fully seating. How do you solve this issue?
jimjimbo
Product page states 5 5/8 inch cutout. Try it on another piece of wood first. https://www.parts-express.com/speaker-cabinet-port-tube-4-id-x-4-l-flared--260-
mopardave
port measures 6.25" on flared end and looks like hole could be cut .5" smaller to give a 5 3/4" hole for the port. should be good. may get started on these tonight. thanks

mopardave
went well. cut a 5 1/4 hole and then cut slits for the supporting ribs in the port. still waiting for sound deadener to show up. should of been here today.

mopardave
Ok, I think i'm finished with the foam install. Went pretty straight forward. Did everything but the motor board. 12sqft does a pair of heresy's.
mopardave
Ok, changed my mind on the xo deal. Decided to pull the B xo from the CW's and put in the Supers, but need to ask if i should use a B or a B2 xo in the supers? K77 and K55m drivers. I spoke with Bob Crites and i will be getting his new B2 or B3 for the CW's as i believe they have the K57's with k77. For now need to figure if i need the B or B2 for the Supers. Thanks
