vasubandu
I have a new DTR-50.6 I cannet get it to play anything in 7.2 to save my life. It is always 5.1. The manual does not even include the term 7.2. Thanks.
wvu80
Did you use the AccuEQ Room Calibration? How are you testing the 7.1? Use anything you see that references 7.1, don't worry about the .2 right now. Are you using the Basic Manual, or the Advanced Manual? You will need the Advanced to get information on setting up listening modes.

Now 7.1 does exist but your 50.6 does have two subwoofer outputs but both will be mono signals and not EQ'd independently. There is really only one LFE(.1) channel so .2, .3, .4, etc. is really not a thing. @Scrappydue Onkyo/Integra's AccuEQ probably works a little different than Audyssey so maybe research that a bit more. dtr20
7.1 does exist. Are you using a Blu-ray with 7.1?
JohnA
There aren't many sources with 7.1 on them. You'll have to search a lot to find one.

I did not realize that.In 5.1 configuration, I would rather have the back surrounds active than the surrounds. Can I just swap them?
