THX certified compost is next,if see THX certified Inspire speakers I will puke.THX certification lost most of its prestige(if it ever had much)when PC speakers started to be certified.Just because some glorified boombox reaches 115dB with minimal distortion means bull.Sound quality is not deaf output alone,its detail,dynamic range,finesse and tonality.Imaging and soundstaging most THX certified speakers dont even deserve to be compared to my smallest and least expensive Dynaudios.

THX is pure marketing these days

I'm kind of taking a different approach.

I'm in the market for some of them cones. You know, the kind you set your gear on.

I'm having some trouble making up my mind. I don't know if I want the $500 cones, or the $50 cones. I'm bummed, because I might have to buy ALL the cones to see which ones "sound" the best. So...

...I've just decided I'm not buying any cones, unless they are THX certified.2.gif
