thebes
That's right Free, Free, Free as in Free!!!!!!!!! Some of you may remember the contest's I used to hold to encourage participation in an old "Members Weekly Music Recommendations" thread, which usually involved me giving away a t-shirt. You may also remember my "guess the number of vacuum tubes" in this box contest. Well it's time for a music trivia contest. Rules are simple answer the questions correctly and you will be included in a drawing for an old school Klipsch nylon jacket (extra large) generously donated to me at years ago but for some reason, never given away. Scouts honor in not using, repeat , not using the internet to answer the questions. You can, of course, ask friends or significant others for assistance, but not use them to search the internet for you. Scouts honor in not looking at everyone else's answer, although that will probably be pretty hard not to do. There will be two runners up, the 2nd runner up will receive a 60th Anniversary Paul Klipsch coaster, and the 3rd runner up will receive a Klipsch logo tie-tac. And, drumroll, the questions are: 1. Which later-to-be-famous solo singer and guitarist toured as a member of the Beach Boys in the mid 60s? 2. Which member of the Hollies went on to join the hugely successful American band commonly known by their initials CSNY? 3. What was the 1962 space-age instrumental hit by the Tornados? 4. Name the album that was the first CD pressed in the United States. 5. What was the first rock-n-roll song to hit #1 on the charts?

Deang
I think you only get all of these right if you use a search engine. I got three right.

Harleywood
I can only answer #2 Graham Nash with 90% certainty so for that reason I'd like to use a lifeline and ask the audience.
