LKJDZER73
I have a pair of Klipsch Kg2. I would like to know what is recommended to clean and protect the rubber surrounds on the woofers? They are in good condition, just a bit cloudy. Thanks in advance any advice. dtr20
I'm not sure if this is recommended, but for really cloudy rubber, I've used a magic eraser with a cleaning solution until I got it close to black, then I used an amoral protectant wipe to make them shine.
JohnA
I wouldn't do anything. They aren't tough enough for much willing. Mine have it but I can't tell it affects the sound.
YK Thom
I wonder if a small amount of ArmorAll on a soft cloth would be enough to bring back the look.

SilverSport
I used a silicone product made for brake components on vehicles...it was recommended for use on Corvette door rubber (or any other vehicle) and as I recall it was only applied once in 12 years on the Corvette never needing to be reapplied...I used it sparingly on the surrounds of my kg2s several years ago and it also has not needed to be reapplied since... my kg2s are used daily in a small television/home theater setting...(my normal television watching instead of using the speakers on the flat screen) good luck with your choice. billybob
Would try a light white vinegar and when clean and dry use a light coat of baby oil... And by the way, welcome to the forum...
