bkwa1959
Picture of one of the Belles after I painted the glass black to cover scratches
bkwa1959
The speakers have the AB-2 crossovers, I was thinking about upgrading them, but now I will just use them as they are .The glass tops turned out nice.I am a little concerned about any noise I could get from the glass when I play the speakers at higher volume
billybob
Should be fine...a very small spot of glue otherwise... nice...
Heaterman
Looks good! Shouldn’t be an issue. I have glass tops on my Belles, laid directly on the wood with no noticeable vibration or noise. If you do get something, they make very thin round disks made of clear plastic as a spacer. The glass place I got my glass from gave me a bag of them that I chose not to use. If you have problems let me know, I’ll find them and mail them to you.
bkwa1959
The seller gave me 5 of them ,I have some round felt pieces I am using but they are thicker than I really want.I will try the plastic disc tonight to see how they look.
JohnJ
Yea those discs work great, just touch your tongue to one side then stick it to the glass. Used five on the tops to my H IIs and they stuck for thirty years. I assume the painted side of the glass is the underside they probably will still work. Nice Clean set of Belles!
