Boy you were up early ...or maybe late.

If you can get a pair of "Classics" in very good to mint condition that you like the cabinet finish color that is not too bad.

You should call in Mobile Homeless from 2 channel forum and ask his opinion.

My Chorus IIs I bought 2 months ago were ...

-mint

-black

-$800 and close enough for me to pick them up

Not a steal but not unreasonable.

Good Luck

Rick

Mark,

Shapeshifter is correct. Give us specifics about these particular speakers. Values can change dramatically based on age, finish, and most certainly condition.

Where are you, and where are the speakers?

If those are the ones on ebay from Mississippi, sounds like a good deal. The only thing is, I could swear that I saw them on Ebay about 6 months back. Not sure what the deal with that is but thought you might need that kind of info. Good luck and welcome aboard the ship Heritage.

For what it's worth - I sold a set of oak 1985 Cornwalls (6/7 out of 10 cosmetically) about 6 months ago for 900 and I paid the 162.00 shipping costs from VA to IL via Yellow Freight. I got a discounted shipping rate through the company I work for, so I ended up paying about half the going rate for shipping.
