Dneu2011
I have a few different revisions of the Amp Camp Amplifier for sale. Some of these I built for friends or family to try out Class A and some I built for fun with some spare heatsinks and parts and enjoyed for awhile. Every amplifier board was built with the same upgrades discussed in the below thread on DiyAudio from Tungstenaudio. The biggest different is the Power Supply configuration I used and I mentioned the differences below. https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/aca-amp-with-premium-parts.328357/page-4 Great way to enjoy Class A Nelson Pass on a budget! These amps are my favorite on Klipsch and I preferred them over all my tube gear including a Bob Latino VTA 120 I built. I also have a PassDIY M2x with all the populated daughter boards I built as Dual Mono I would consider selling. Single Amp Camp Amplifier (silver heatsinks): - Antek AS-2220 transformer with CapMX power supply - 26 Volt Rails - Red Oak stained faceplate - Approximately 12 watts per channel Class A - SOLD Dual Amp Camp Amplifier (large 4u 400m black chassis): - LED lights in picture are NOT as bright as they appear - Two Amps built into one large chassis - Black Powder Coated Faceplate - Two AS-2220 Transformers - Capacitor, Resistor, Choke, Capacitor Filtering - 24V Rails per channel - 54,000uf capacitors per amp board - Wired according to Nelson's 1.8 revision - 3 way switch for Parallel RCA monoblocks, XLR monoblocks, RCA Bridged Monoblocks, or to run 4 speakers in stereo - Approximately 20 watts Class A per channel as monoblocks and 10 watts per channel as stereo (depending on load) - Very large amp so shipping will be higher; asking $900 and ill ship for free All amps were built from used heatsinks or some that I had to cut to size on a bandsaw. Some of the heatsinks have some minor blemishes but it is hardly noticeable! Any questions, just ask.

OO1
I love the wood ,, quite unique
Dneu2011
Appreciate it. Wood does help keep the cost down. A chassis for the original amp camp is 55% of the cost of the amp. Building one from parts cuts down on the cost significantly. This allows me to keep the cost low and upgrade the power supply. I forgot to mention, I am also very open to trades and located in Houston, TX.

I’m possibly interested in the single amp with the red oak faceplate.

I’m possibly interested in the single amp with the red oak faceplate. I’m mainly looking for a quality Dac or balanced preamplifier. If you’re local I’ve been trying to get a pair of Klipsch Heresy to restore. Happy to spend my own money if your item costs more. Feel free to PM me with what you have. Those were my last pair I built with those heatsinks and that Peruvian Walnut was pretty. He told me he regretted getting rid of them and asked me to help build him an upgraded pair of the kits on DiyAudio.

Dneu2011
I just lowered my prices on these items and I am still open to any trades. Also, I just finished this amp and it looks and sounds fantastic for being built with spare heatsinks from a large Denon surround sound unit and some extra PSU parts I had laying around. This is a 15 watt Nelson Pass Amp Camp Amp like the amps above but has a larger 300va transformer with 28V per rail instead of the normal 24V. This results in more power and gives the amp a more robust sound. I had some extra 10,000uf caps on a breadboard and 2 CapMX power supplies so I combined them together to make 60,000uf in power filtering before a nicely designed CapMX power supply. The amp is one of the quietest I have built because of the added filtering and it runs VERY cool because of the larger heat sinks. Finally, a really nice scrap of Peruvian Walnut on the face of the amp with a power switch on front AND back (for when you don’t use it for longer period of time). Asking $600 for it and I’ll ship it for free anywhere in the Cont US.

Westerml
@Dneu2011 some great looking builds. I just recently put my ACAmini on my K402’s with Celestion Axi2050’s and it sounds quite good. To me it sounds better with jumper removed (the way NP likes it). Great little amp. Especially for the top end. I actually sent Nelson an email and asked what he thought might work well on the Celestion’s and he said give the ACAmini build a try. I happen to buy this already built based on good timing….and lack of skill. You have any additional recommendations? My K402/Celestions cover from 225 up in a 2-way configuration. Thanks and congratulations on all your amps moving on…. Mike
Dneu2011
Hey Mike. Yes the mini is a very cool amp for the size and price. To me, it sounds a lot like the F5 but 1/4 the power. With efficient speakers it doesn’t matter. A couple of my favorites I’ve built are the Aleph J (dual mono) which I’m experiencing with now, the F4 as monoblocks, and the Amp Camps but with an upgraded power supply similar to the larger pass amps. I also like the M2x but it was a bit too warm on my Harbeth but sounds awesome on Klipsch.
